Have a good day. I relate a little bit with your question, i just a newbie but want to help base on what I've learned here in the WA.

Like what other have said you have to post most relevant articles/review of products and add affiliate link
to each of every pages that related to your niche.

Be consistent continue of doing that 2 or 3 articles publish to your website every week. Plus create ads to your social media, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or YouTube and others to bring traffic and visitors to your website.

In doing all of these process in the long run I'm sure you'll getting revenue in it. I have no doubt sooner or later you reach your goals. You will have an income to cover up of all the hard work.

Patience my friend. As long as you post valuable content daily on your website, reviews are equally as important.
Engage in social media, I create pins for my content via Pinterest to make my website gain some attention, as a result Im getting some followers.
Google adsense is helpful for receiving some traffic to your website, but not too many ads;)

that's such an excellent question .... one that i've often pondered as to what is the point of it ...

well, the WA definition is: " - - - - - - - - - - - is now following you within Wealthy Affiliate. This means that your actions will now reach more people, increasing traffic and exposure to your contributions!" ...

the foregoing is the WA message that i receive when someone clicks on to 'follow me.' and i am musing that perhaps this is better suited to online social media definitions, more so.

when I first landed on this platform, i didn't really have a requirement for 'following' as such. Plus, i think it goes to the days of 'celebrity' in having followers, perhaps?

and, indeed, there are other schools of thought as well ...

For instance: "..... leaders don't create followers.... they create more leaders." ... Tom Peters, successful business person.

I think in reality it means lots of things so there are those people that :

can follow
should follow
want to follow

There is a great tendancy to follow someone because its the "thing" to do. However it does give you exposure and then it is down to us what we do with it.

So I break it down into the following categories:

acquaintances
friends
best friends
lovers

Our job is to move them through the cycle knowing that only 20% of our followers will be come lovers and generate the most reach, views and revenue.

There is only three ways to grow a business

Volume
Value ( spend)
Frequency of purchase.

The question is where are our followers in the cycle?

Very interesting question Johane, my brain cogs are turning!

When you are consistently creating quality rich content, you are attracting a large influx of readers who wants to read your blog and interested to learn more and look forward to the next post thus the follow. It can also be a two way process.

Or you are an influencer or a celebrity, you would even attract large larger influx of individuals and businesses who may want to sponsor or be sponsored.

Some others on the contrary they do not follow masses like the masses they follow them. They have reached a high level of success.

Go to website, then site manager on your far right there is a move button click on it. Hope you will come right.

If you are wanting to use posts and pages from one website into another, you could use the following: Move Post or Page From One Website to Another so that you will NOT lose any comments made.

This is all in the training. Level 2. You can buy your domain and then move the content from siterubix.com to your new domain.

Verification is a process. You can sign up and start selling, but final authorization is after min amount of sales. Follow the instruction link given already.
