Please can anyone help me on different ways hackers can steal my Amazon Affiliate commission on my WP Website?
I always wondered if someone could steal your Affiliate Commission.
I am sure something can be done about this because it is not very nice when it happens.
Elke
It is unlikely that you can have commissions stolen or hacked. There are a few strategies that some people use to overwrite cookies (cookie injection), but the people would still have to visit their website before they buy.
This SHOULD NOT be a concern of yours.
Thanks Kyle.
The question as nothing to do with WA. I have a workshop in my local group discussion about affiliate marketing Q & A. It is one of the question i need to address.
Thanks for the help.
I appreciate this.
John
Are you saying that you HAVE had commissions stolen or that you would like to PROTECT against it?
As there are two completely different approaches depending on what has happened.

Dear support,
I received this yesterday dated 25th of July with title " Kyle just blogged: A Productive Day on purpose
" It came with this link " https://my.wealthya
Glad you are asking the question, because phishing email inside WA is not allowed. if it happens the appropriate parties need to be notified.
It looks like it is legitimate. You will notice a "affiliate:" button on the the right under each blog. As members of WA we can forward blogs by someone else to others if we like them rather than try and write something similar
Thanks. I will try forward it to support to investigate this. I got the email directly to my email box from Kyle.
Kind regards
John
Hi - that blog post does exist, but it was not written by Kyle, so I don't know what's happened there. A Productive Day on purpose
Did you receive such email yesterday? i was trying to send it to support but it end up here.
Thanks.

Please what is the meaning of this code and what it does and its effect on my external links { rel="noopener noreferrer" }
Thank you.
John
Hi John, In an attempt to assist you with your question I copied the code into Google. I found a lot of information about this, but it's too technical for me to comment on.
If this code is on your own website I recommend asking Site Support. If you open a ticket with them, I'm sure they will help you.

Google AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) . It is an open source idea supported by Google and Twitter. The objective of the project is to make web content load faster for mobile us
Jay has a training on this: Your Google Mobile Rankings AMPed! But it's hard to know whether to use it or not. I think for "news" related websites, it could be beneficial. But some aspects still seem to be being tested out, so some folks are unhappy with switching to amp.
I wouldn't worry about it since it looks like you just joined in June.
First do you think this will be beneficial for your user experience on your site?
Second, I know there a way to find out if your visitor are from desktop or mobile (will come back with this). With this information in hand you can take a inform decision about going the AMP route.
I hope this help.
I agree with you bro... As the saying goes, keep it simple... Right now I can answer majority questions about WordPress but add some complexity in there that impacts the performance off the website then I'll be saying, "okay deactivate those plugins and see if the trouble goes away" ..
That is why training tells to stay below 5 plugins as I have spent many hours turning off/on plugins in groups to isolate the trouble maker.
Yikes..
Thanks. But Accelerated Mobile Pages is as important as your decision to get into plugging. Why would one start blogging without an audience, AMP makes ways for mobile readers visibilities.
My fear is how to handle the impact on my website.
Thank you Billyghawaii
I wouldn't worry about it... It's too early to be realized simply because it requires many entities to come together and formulate standards that everyone needs to agree on and then deliver, then there needs an arm to validate compliance, else it won't work. Nice idea but it's like a major shift in the way things are done.
WordPress has evolved to a point where the mobile version derived from the desktop is working 100%... I was amazed a couple evenings ago seeing how responsive WordPress is morphing to any screen size I could dream up. WordPress is like a fine wine who's time has come.
