What's your greatest fear?
You'll be amazed that one is the fear of success!
- Surprised? Don't be... what is the fear of success?
- Always having to do more to succeed.
- Afraid you'll have more than you can do and fail...
- The next mountain may be too high and you can't climb it...
- In succeeding, you may be shunned by those who don't think you deserve it...
- If you succeed, you will have to do more to continue and may not be able to do that.
- You don't have too! Think about that.
- If you do succeed, then fail, so what?
- Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.
If I succeed people won't like me!
- The least of your worries!
- Deal with it... they probably wouldn't have liked you any how!
- Who cares... your new attitude.
How about this quote from Henry Ford:
"One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn't do."
Let that sink in...

hi Joe . . .
a long, long, time ago . . . there used to a be thing called a 'ladder of success' . . . and a thing called 'dizzying heights' . . .
well, apparently, a 'fear of heights (tall buildings / high anything) was equated with the 'fear of success' . . .
now, would you think that still holds true today? . . .
.... hope you're not a 'fraidy-cat' of heights?! ... 😻 ...
mind you -- i'm not too fussed about going up a ladder even with someone spotting .... thank goodness i don't need to do any of those kinds of things! ... lol .... chuckles! ...
.... keep well & Brave, Joe! ... ⭐️😉🎉....
That quote from Henry Ford hits me hard. Thank you so much for sharing this, Joe.
I have been overthinking my podcast journey. I think I was hard on myself because I am not a native speaker, so I told myself, what if people don't like my accent, what if I pronounce the words wrong, etc. Your post has brought me back to my senses, I just have to face my fear and proof to myself that I can do what I think I can't do.
Thank you!🙏🙏🙏

I don't think I'd like to die burning in a fire. That could be a F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real) LOL

I think most people today are more afraid that the country, or the whole world is going to collapse for any number of reasons: climate change, stock market, re-election bungle, on and on. So why should anyone start all the hassle and unknowns in starting a business. Trouble is, all that terrible stuff may not end up being as bad as we imagined--so now what? Maybe we should have concerned ourselves with the here and now instead of worrying about things we have little or no control over.
Great response Barbara.
