What are you afraid of?
Fear is debilitating!
- It destroys reasoning.
- Stops us in our tracks.
- Keeps us from doing anything.
- Can't make a decision.
- Plans we made before seem meaningless now.
- What we would have done without thinking, we now are paralyzed.
- Fear is usually unreasonable... reasoning goes out the window.
- Your ability to even think is destroyed!
- Nothing makes sense now.
- "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." Franklin D. Roosevelt 1933
Causes us to doubt each other...
- Brings mistrust...
- Makes you believe a rumor that has not been true.
- Changes your whole life.
- Destroy dreams.
Rudyard Kipling summed it up well:
"Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears."

Thought provoking, Joe. There is fear that warns us of impending danger. You might call that "good" fear, because it gives us a reason to act accordingly to protect ourselves, our families, our belongings.
And then there is irrational fear. Fear that is debilitating- makes us think, not about positive steps to preserve, but to hide, to become irrational, to do nothing but quake until the fear subsides. That kind of fear keeps us immobile, unable to make decisions for our own good. It's a trap that steals precious time - don't fall in it- "let's do this together." right on!

I agree fear is bad, but worse for me is making the new habit of working daily. Just can't seem to do the work. I have a flurry of activity and then don't do anything for weeks.
I suppose I'll get there eventually. Might be a while, but I'll keep going because I do actually enjoy writing and researching. Too entrenched in my comfort zone, I suppose.
Thanks for your post Joe.
