Trying to build a better mousetrap?

Why?

  • First, you need to know WHY you need a better mousetrap?
  • Next, what's wrong with the mousetrap you have?
  • How much time and money will you spend building a better mousetrap?
  • What will you do with it when you get it built?

Always seek to improve yourself!

  • Just being better is not enough... seek to be great!
  • If you have an idea that will make things better... do it!
  • When you came to WA, what did you want to accomplish?
  • Do you want to make WA better?
  • I'm sure Kyle, Carson and Jay are interested in doing things better.
Notice the word "together."
  • Before you spend time and money, ask what changes are coming?
  • Are there changes already coming that you want to see?
  • Perhaps someone is already making the changes?
  • Could it be a new update may already be in the wind?
  • Ask.

I close with a quote from Leo Tolstoy:

"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."

Think about that.

Joe

*** there's a London Show -- Mousetrap! ... had been playing for decades, started in 1952 and ran continuously until March 2020! ...
went to see it and it has an interesting ending which one does not divulge to others until they've had a chance to see it! ...

there we go for Mousetrap .... lol ...

like the quote -- it's more a matter of the 'inner' work that needs to be done and the taking of self-responsibility for making the needed changes for the better .... (seems like most are quite content with themselves vs actually doing the 'work' on self-improvement to evolve) ...

thanks Joe for another stimulating post! ...

keep well, stay strong .... :) ****

Very nice, Joe!

Jeff

I like that quote Joe. I also like " the tide of change starts with one person".
I like Twacks one too.

In support of Tolstoy's quote, we have Mahatma Gandhi, who is quoted as saying the following, though it turns out this is the shortened version of what he actually said.

"Be the change you want to be in the world"

Nailed it yet again Joe.😁

Being a high school teacher I tell my students that everyday I am learning something new just as they are. If more people did that, the world would have more to offer.
