Three things a pilot can't use.

Runway that is behind you, altitude that is above you and fuel in the fuel truck.

What has this got to do with WA?

  • After takeoff, the runway is not helpful...it is behind the airplane.
  • Immediately after takeoff, the altitude that is above the plane is of no value.
  • If the pilot didn't put fuel in the plane, the fuel truck is not good after takeoff.

Why did you come to WA? What were your expectations? What do you hope to accomplish?

  • Did you start building your website before you started doing the lessons?
  • Start blogging before you read the rules?
  • Writing content before you chose your niche carefully?
  • Been here 30 days and still not making money?

My granddaddy said, "That's puttin the cart before the horse". Just don't work.

  • Think before you push the throttles to take off power.
  • Plan your flight...do the lessons first...many of us drop the ball here.
  • Might shock you, but Kyle, Carson and Jay actually have this figured out!
  • The system works, if you work the system.
  • If you love football, the only thing to focus on is the goal post that is in front of you.

Okay, breathe... pause... think... plan... make some decisions BEFORE you takeoff. It gets downright embarrassing to take off, climb the plane to 100 feet and have the engines quit because you forgot to put fuel in the tanks.

This will work if you do it right. I have built many websites... most were disasters! Why?

I took off before I fueled the plane. I didn't plan my flight. I just decided I wanted to go bore a hole in the sky!

Plan your flight and fly your plan... heard that before? Surprise... it works.

Joe - You are right on so many fronts, Thanks.

Thanks.
Joe

Everyday I get a special lift from reading your blogs Joe. It gives me just the right amount of
kick to get my day started. I will be planning each day in 2020. Jim

Jim, we are an inspiration to each other and that's what WA is all about. While I am changing some of my ways, I still plan to be here to help and encourage people. Been doing it a long, long time.
Thanks for being here and encouraging me as well. Hope the fires are dying down a bit down under?
Joe

Hi Joe. This leave me with a lot of thoughts. Thank you for this article. Absolutely clear and will keep the advice in vision.

Thanks Nertina. Hope it is a help to you.
Joe

Hi Joe,

Your post goes further than WA. It is all about life.

Thank you for sharing another keeper.

Best wishes,
Michael

Thanks Michael.
Appreciate that.
Joe

yes, an astute observation & insightful understanding on your part, Michael --- shows wisdom in place! .... :)

Hi Keisha, OMG and wow. Who meeeeeeeeee

Michael

... ya .... if the shoe fits! ... lol ....

hey -- let's hi- jack Joe's post here ... lol ... giggles! ...

Hi Keisha,
I would like to hi-jack all Joes's posts, put my own twist on it and viola I have a great post. Same thing with Twack. These guys are just two of the many masterminds of words. So much talent.

So what's our first move........ :)

Michael

well. i think we need someone in that air traffic control tower to tell it like it is! .... lol ....

something like this, perhaps >>> 🗼 or 💈 or 🛩

I resemble that remark!
🥴
Joe

Worked that too!
Joe

uhm --- 'resemble that remark!' ... lol ... well, let's get this thing off the ground and in the air! .. ✈️ ...

ya mean you've been an ATC?! ... with wings?! ....

Worked the control tower at Augusta Ga when I was there.

*** gosh -- sounds like you've done it all -- and been there, too! .... amazing ! ....

anything else that you still wanna do or see or? .. ***

Hi Joe, being a pilot that is such a responsibility. Here you have all these passengers depending on you to get them to their destination safely.

Me a mere passenger on the WA plane. My gosh you have got people safely to their destination what are your next plans.

Michael

Seen a lot in 82 years! Flew about every airplane since 1955, have my pilots license, aircraft mechanic license, worked the control tower... flew on the Concorde both ways from England...anything else I need to do? Just going to stay here and harass everyone!
Joe

Michael, I love what I do. Helping people. I appreciate your good attitude and respect.
Joe

Hi Joe, just read your response to Keisha, wow since 1955. An aircraft mechanic, flight control just amazing.

Michael

Michael, I’m an old man. Just trying to help people.
Joe

Hi Joe, are you saying keishalina worked the tower at Augusta Ga. Oh no sorry about that. Fright took over when I thought Keisha was in the Tower controlling planes. I responded before I actually realized you were just answering Keisha.

Humble apologies,
Michael

hahaheeteehe! ... you Joe 'harass everyone!' .. lol ... that just struck me as so funniee-e! ....

and the Concord twice?! .... hey are they stll flown today ? ... with all that jet fuel needed to get it going? .... :)

are you sayin' meeeeee? ....

well i did know an air traffic controller from the last century -- a very calm collected soul --- whose hair went grey real fast!

awhh Joe --- don't say you're 'an old man.' --- just young for a long time! .... read that in a birthday card -- centuries ago --- oops -- meant years ago ... ah what the heck may as well have been centuries ... lol ....

😂 Keisha wasn't there in 1958!
Joe

Concorde is done. Only 5 built. 1 crashed in Paris. Grounded all the others

I resemble that remark!

*** thanks Joe -- thought i heard something like that way back when ... so the Concorde is kaput .... has there been any other planes build since that have overtaken its speed? ... apparently the sonic boom was quite something ... ? ***

👨‍✈️

Hi Joe, the Concorde was one of the most beautiful planes I have ever seen. Did you fly the Concorde,

Michael

Only Military.

hey --- you must have a lot of resemblances -- that's at least twice today! ... lol ...

... figures ... everything kept under wraps! ....

Rode it both ways from London. Mach 2! Look out the window the earth was curved and the sky was black above

ah well -- guess i'll just have to be happy with my o' LearJet! ..

I still resemble it - 3 times!😳

Actually, the earth is flat - the windows were painted!

I'll fly it for you

funny you mention the earth is flat -- a buddy of mine thinks the same! ... lol ....

and yet when i've looked out over the horizon -- no matter whether over water or in the sky -- there seems to be a slight curvature ...

hey Michael -- I heard that -- sheeze giving me a fright! ... lol ..

Major cop out here Keisha, at least we know what Joe looks like. He is a handsome and well distinguished gentleman. Think there is a bit of a fib about his age though.
Why would anyone say they are older than they really are.

Michael

*** heehehehaha! ... go figure! .... LOL ... ***

Hi Joe, please if you are old then I am ancient. You are appreciated by the whole WA community, and I am so glad you are a part of WA.

Blessings,
Michael

It ain't flat!

It's my son!

OK it is time we we have to pay some serious attention to this. If the earth is flat then why does it look round from outer space, same with the moon. I am soooo confused.

Excuse me Joe, what about me

Thanks Michael. I've lost track of what I Anson! Senior moment

Trust me. I've seen it from 61,000 feet. It's round.

You're still a kid!

Wow Joe, my gosh you actually flew the Concorde. Sorry I am a bit breathless.

Flew ON the Concorde. Rode I the cockpit until landing in London with Capt Brittain

Thanks Joe, I am going to be 18 till I die.

*** whaddya mean the earth 'ain't flat?!' ...lol ... ***

hey Michael -- have you had din-dins yet? .. i'm famished after walking puppy! .... need some good food ... being a foodie!

lol ... resemble 3x ! ... ya mean yur part of " triplets?! "

I'm going to bed on a round earth!

hey Joe --- wasn't 1958 a good year?! ....

Every year is a good year!

ok Joe at 61,000 -- it's a lil' light on oxygen isn't ? ... maybe the round earth you thought you saw got to yur noggin'?! ...lol ...

The windows were painted!

... i dunno about the windows painted, Joe, (head shakes!) ...

then maybe all those take-offs and landings are 'virtual, too!' ...

like getting to the moon and back! .... :)

Yep. All took place in a simulator.

... ok --- then maybe all of life is on a simulator! ... lol ... :)

Could be. This young man is going to bed.

yes, getting one's beauty rest is vital! ... enjoy some good solid zzz-zzzing! .... zzz ... sweet dreams ....
