Pie in the sky, by and by!

Yea, I hear it all the time!
- I've heard enough of this positive thinking stuff!
- We live in a horrible time in history.
- There is no hope for me... why are you telling me to have hope?
- I'm at the end of the rope... just holding on... don't tell me things are getting better!
- Well, I have lived over 82 years and seen some terrible times.
- My parents lived through the great depression and survived.
- I lived through HIV, all sorts of viruses and now this...
King Solomon summed it up: "There is nothing new under the sun..."
For those of you who think my positive attitude is too much, I leave you with this quote from Vinaya Panicker:
"Admidst the ruins of my life, I could smell the fragrance of hope."

What an inspiring quote. Hope is eternal. It's an optimistic view of life and I can't imagine finding success in either your personal and business life without it.
Joe many thanks for sharing the above. With each and every adversary there's a seed of benefit!
Johan.

Hi Joe. You are spot on my friend. I see how some people today are annoyed about having to self isolate and I can't help but wonder why. They have a warm bed, food, a couch and most likely a cell phone and TV to entertain them. My parents went through 10 years of self isolation in world war 2 with very little food or heating.
They had three children ( my older sisters) and all of them witnessed some terrible things. Not only did they make it through this horrible time they were the happiest people that I have known. Jim
Beautiful reply Jim.
