Yep... decision made and nailing it!

  • Sometimes you just have to make a decision and do it.
  • I decided to work on my website and not worry about rank.
  • It's working!
  • In less than two weeks I have added 11 new posts of over 1,000 words each.
  • Managed to still welcome every new Premium member and new members.
  • Blogged daily on WA.

It's not rocket science!
  • It's called focus... like a laser... daily planning.
  • Add to that 2 doctors visits this week... 1 hour drive each way... 2 hours at each doctor.
  • In retirement, I still manage 10 sales people (better than 100 + I had).
  • At age 82, don't talk to me about how busy you are!
  • You won't get a sympathetic ear... maybe a kick in the butt!

It's really simple... you find the time to do what you want. Reach your goals, help people, encourage people and by golly, it happens.

So what do I need to do Joe?

Quit making excuses. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. I have suffered for over a month with bursitis (doctor finally found out what it was) and got a shot with a needle that my wife described was a foot long.

Did all of that in sheer misery sitting with my laptop writing copious posts with searing pain in my hip, so I don't want sympathy, nor am I giving any.

Just do it!

🤣. My dad is 85 and still working as a pharmacist! I’m proactive.. think I get it from him but my husband is too, thankfully, otherwise having a son playing international tennis tournaments would be very difficult. We all have to manage the cards we are dealt, and I don’t mean life cards, but daily/weekly cards- changing our ability to progress. Adaptation is the key.. when I started out with my son in Spain, age 11, I was stepping so far out of my comfort zone I needed binoculars to look back and see it... but for him I knew I had to be brave and do it.. I have learned to adapt.. yes I have days that I’m not in control of, like last week here in Kenya, that was frustrating, but in general I’m a totally different person to the one that left the UK 6 years ago. Working within WA is a daily pleasure.

Helen, you’re doing what it takes. Keep it up.

Great job Congratulation to you for sharing such positive thoughts with us we can accomplish our tasks with the right attitude. I"ve got this! not bye excuse. Thank you so much keep up the good work. All the best to you on your journey at WA. Have a great weekend. Fitzgerald

Life always gets in the way of best intentions- And you just huncker down and do what you got to do.

I've had bursitis and I decided at the last moment to opt out from the needle to the Chiropractor. Best decision I ever made--for me -- everybody has to do what is best for them.

My focus has changed to family this holiday season- have a family member who had a leg amputated just two weeks ago --right now our focus is on his needs. Rank just fell off the radar.

You just jump off the Merry-Go-Round and do whatever it is you need to do and jump back on when you're ready.
Keep on keeping on.

Thanks Barbara... love the merry go round!
Joe

Great post

Way to go Joe - we’re heads-down and covering ground!
