It's hard to soar with eagles while walking with turkeys!
Which do you want?
- Soaring with eagles...
- Walking with turkeys?
- Turkeys are not good at flying.
- Eagles are not good at walking around... they like to fly.
- Which best describes your business?
Want a mountain top experience as an eagle?
- Or, do you prefer to walk around in the barnyard with turkeys?
- By joining WA, you have expressed your desire to soar!
- Perhaps you came here with only a dream... just a desire... a hope.
- To soar, you have to take off... you have to get off the ground.
- You won't get off the ground, whining and procrastinating.
- Simple start... begin with the end in mind... know where you want to go and go there.
- Remember, as a pilot I told you that you have to know where you are before you know where you're at!
- Launch your boat... soar... soar... soar!
- Damn the torpedoes... get in the battle!
- It's hard to catch fish sitting in the parking lot... get the boat away from the dock!
Those who know me, know I love quotes by Mark Twain. Here's one of my favorites:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do."
I look back over my 82 years and I have done everything I set out to do. I have no regrets because I decided as a teenager to soar with eagles!
You can too... start!

Thank you for the great post! To be honest with you right now I feel like turkey but want to be eagle quickly. I lost a little bit of momentum because I just got back to work after a long break. There is so much to learn. I joined last month and the goal is to get off the turkey camp and join the real Wealthy Affiliate way! To Soar! Soar! and Soar!
This is so true, Joe. I choose to soar like an eagle.
I love that quote from Mark Twain. I got married when I was 29 years old. In Indonesia it's considered late for a woman to get married close to the age of 30. But I am okay with that. At least I got to experienced my first time going abroad on a youth exchange program to Australia after I acquired my Bachelor's degree. Then I also got a scholarship to attend college in USA. I never thought I would meet the love of my life in a foreign country. Now I have a family and live in USA.
Thank you for sharing this post, Joe. It reminds me that I am blessed with a pretty good life.😀👍

You say it well,Joe.
I remember when I was learning to fly gliders during my youth, before going to flight school. On one of the training flights, we had just entered a thermal, lying in left circle to stay in the thermal, we suddenly discovered an eagle joining us! He got close, real close. Probably thought we were another competitor to his territorries.😎
I am an eagle! Don´t let yourself be grounded due to procastination. Nike, has a great slogan for this: Just Do IT!
I love your Mark Twain quotes.
