For a pilot, what's the most important part of the flight?

Last Update: January 17, 2020

Actually, not the flight!

  • It's the PLANNING!
  • Fail to plan, you plan to fail!
  • Same applies to WA... some just jump in... no goals, no plans, no focus.
  • Plan your blogs BEFORE you blog!
  • Think though your website before you start to build it.

"A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow." Ancient Proverb.

As a pilot, we were told: "Before you can know where you're going, you have to know where you are." Do you know where you are? Do you have a clue where you are going?

  • Do you get up in the morning and hope the coffee will be ready?
  • How about checking the map to make sure you know where you are going!
  • Maybe a couple goals, with steps in place to reach it?
  • What about a plan for your future...any thoughts there?

Why not sit down tonight and actually write down some plans on a yellow pad? Then, add some steps to make those plans happen.

Don't just let life happen... make it happen! Make room at the top here at WA!

You can do this.

Hi Joe,

Planning is a vital step in any goal achievement. If we fail to plan, then we are planning to fail. Thanks for the great reminder of the importance of planning anything we want to achieve in our lives. Have a great weekend! Wishing you the very best!

Kind regards,
Nichola

I love you and all your posts Joe, and you are 100% correct about a pilots duties and success. As a passenger, the most important thing for me is when I had my feet on Terra Firma. I was a white knuckle flyer and had a number of interesting flights. That is one of the reasons we moved back to New England. I also missed the the four seasons (Christmas at 60 Degrees and no snow, no spring to speak of) there were other reasons but I am happy with what I am at and what I am doing.

Very Good Post, Joe enjoy you vacation. My wife and I took a 4 day escape in Maine in November that we enjoyed very Much.

One planning method is to think of our websites as a book. And each post is a chapter in it. Strung together our posts can tell a story of the bigger picture. Our niche.

Like any story were taking our readers on a journey of discovery.

You're absolutely right about planning. One aspect of planing should be not to turn it into procrastination.

You got the right message here Joe. Thank you.
