What drives you?

  • What keeps you going from day to day?
  • Do you have something that you are living for?
  • Something much bigger than you are?
  • So awesome you can only imagine it?

Do you have a driving force when you get up?

  • Can you really "feel" it?
  • Is there something so powerful that keeps pushing you on?
  • That's what dreams are!
  • They are something that you know you can do, but don't have the know how.
Do you feel life has passed you by?
  • Trust me... it hasn't!
  • The goal post is just ahead... keep running just one more mile.
  • Yes... you can even taste it... it's a feeling... you're almost there.

I close with a quote from Rob Siltanen (also quoted by Steve Jobs).

"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify them or vilify them. About the only thing can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do"

Are you crazy enough to make a difference?

Just do it.

I want to make at least 10,000 a month on my website. I have a dream of going to Nigeria and in Benin City setting up a food bank of sorts and I would like to talk to the hospital there and see about setting it up so I could take some of the money and give it to the hospital for them to set up a program that goes by income and giving people who fall below a certain criteria meds when they go to the hospital for help with things like Maleria or Yellow fever. My boyfriend is Nigerian and I want to do this in honor of his cousin who died at the age of 20’s because he didn’t have any money to pay the hospital for treatment or meds. I’m a simple woman I don’t need riches I just hope I am a success so I can help the Nigerians. Because the money exchange rate there is high. You can get an house to rent for 800.00 for an entire year for a family of four. God bless and have a great day. I also want to do some tiny houses here to help the homeless get off the streets.

Great goals and I’m sure you’ll do it!

Thank you. I’m a big dreamer. Go big or go home. Lol. Have a great week.

You are right. Dreams are hard to ignore. Sometimes the vision you have in mind is not the vision you will end up with.
Ever since I was old enough to know what a dream was, I dreamt of a career in music. My mother tried to tell me that I should just enjoy music but not count on having a fancy career. Didn't work. When you have a dream that won't go away, you might as well follow it. It won't come out exactly as you thought, but it will happen.
Most aspiring musicians have a saying that keeps us in reality: "don't give up your day job." I never gave up my dream either.
I love that quote. I heard it from Steve Jobs. It is absolutely true.

Thanks for sharing this post on dreams. I fell dreaming is good because it gives me something to work on and keeps me focus on how to achieve my it.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. Wonderful quotes

Hi Joe, were you applying that quote to me lol. Would you believe that apart from a couple of countries I would like to visit, I have never really had a dream for anything. It does make me sad at times!

Just me!
