- Maybe an affiliate?
- Perhaps you are an expert? (definition: "a drip under pressure!"
- Do you see how we form our definitions of people?
- At Wealthy Affiliate we're ALL members... that's the definition.
- Every one of us starts as a "beginner," no matter your knowledge level.
- Yes, all of us can move up the ladder through training until we become "a drip under pressure!"
You can be what you want to be!
- The words of my school teacher still ring in my ears!
- She meant what she said...
- It broke her heart when I dropped out of high school...
- But what a thrill when I got my doctorate degree many years later!
- To her, I was always Dr. White, not Joe!
- Don't try to define our members as newbies, experts, geeks or any other title.
My hats off to our newest members!
- I have nothing but the greatest respect for Kyle, Carson and all of our mentors.
- We have some wonderful helpers and teachers here.
- Our Help Center is made up of skilled technicians.
- Many of our bloggers and members who write lessons are brilliant!
- So ARE YOU... we're all equal as humans... maybe a different color... different background.
- EQUAL... that's the definition I place on our members.

Thanks Joe for reminding us--we are people- first before we fall into labels-and some labels need to be lost. We all have certain talents- and all different kinds of talents- and everyone in his/her particular way are important to the whole. the world would be pretty boring if we were all the same.
Thanks Joe great article as usual. I agree we are all equal and all have the same opportunity. It is what we choose to do with that opportunity that makes the difference. Titles or labels tend to restrict us especially if we believe the label(newbie, slow-learner etc.). I choose to be an affiliate, that means my focus is on building my business by doing something every day. I know will make plenty of mistakes along the way but that is how we learn. Success comes in many forms and believe as long as we are learning we are succeeding. Thanks again and take care.

Great quote. It's the best way to look at people; to see them as they really are...not as some representation of something else. It is nice to be real, after all.
