I lost my job, and cannot afford to pay my monthly fee to stay premium. Can I have my account put on hold until I get a new job? or do i have to quit Wealthy Affiliates?

I see Jude has given you the instructions to follow, sorry you have to go hope to see you back in the future and wish you well

Oh I will be back!

You can cancel your subscription in your account settings:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/membership/manage

Your membership will become "inactive" at the end of the current subscription period. When you're ready to return, as soon as you re-activate your subscription, you will be able to resume from where you left off. It doesn't matter how long you're away.

If your website is hosted at WA, they will store it for 30 days. I advise you to make a back up of your site. Then you can use the backup to recover your website when you return, or to move the site's hosting somewhere else, should that be your choice.

People come back here all the time. Hope we see you again soon, and good luck with finding a new job. All the best. ~Jude

Thanks for the the great answer.

That is good information thanks

Thanks ,and I definitely will be back!

Hi, I have a similar question/situation. How do I make a back-up of my site? Any info you could pass along would be helpful. Thanks!

I use this plugin to back up my site.

Hi Jude.. I'm in the same situation and found this thread in a search. I want to back up my site so I can put my membership on hold for a bit. I see the link you have there but I'm not sure how to do it. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Steph

Steph, have you installed the Back Up WordPress plugin via the link I provided above?

The link below is a YouTube tutorial on how to use the plugin. You won't use scheduling - you would just want to do a one time back up and save all content to your computer and an external drive. You may also be able to tick an option to save it on the WA hosting server, so do that as well.

Another method is to use the export/import function in WP and save the content onto your computer and/or an external drive and also on the WA hosting server. This method won't save your theme or plugins, but it will save all of your pages and posts.

Kyle explains it here: With this method, in addition to uploading the pages and posts, you would also have to upload the theme and plugin files again from their original source.

Then cancel the billing in the Accounts Section.

When you return to WA, log in and make the payment. Then before you upload files from your backups, put in a support ticket to ask if by any chance WA hosting can recover your site from the database. It will depend on how long you've been away whether they will be able to do it for you. If not, you can use your backups to restore the site. ~Jude

They save it for you for a month, as far as I know

I got a register problem 3031166 nRRPResponse code 533<br> for ns2.my WAhosting .com.What do I need to do?

My experience with Namecheap has always been very pleasant. Sorry, can't help you there.

Thanks I found my error and fixed it.

I have had no problems with namecheap. Hope you get yours resolved.

Thanks I did.

I had problems with namecheap.com so I wrote this blog:

Kim :))

I've never seen this before. I've purchased two domains at namecheap.com with no problem. I think I would file a support ticket and let the folks there help. They solve many problems for our members. Good Luck!
