just read somewhere that pinterest has banned affiliate links, that true

Direct linking on Pinterest is no longer allowed.
This is something that has been done everywhere else, Pinterest is just now catching up.
Just link people to your site and then provide the affiliate link on your page.

Thats exactly what I've done, Thanks anyway Labman

Should my blog post take up my whole front page or should i have a continue reading thing in and does this solve the problem?

Glad you have it sorted out..:))

You can shorten it two ways.

1. (preferred) Go into Settings > Reading and change your blog settings to "excerpt".

2. If that doesn't work, you can do this to each post: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jaweda2k/blog/using-the-more-button-to-add-a-read-more

Thanks Nate had to use option 2 :)

What's the problem?

not sure if it is a problem as such, my blog post takes up the whole page was wondering if that was normal or should it have a continue reading line http://letsgosucceed.siterubix.com/

Nathaniell beat me to it...as usual...glad you figured it out! LOL!

I read somewhere that text links work better than photo's.
Can anyone prove or disprove this?

I use a bit of both, that way its covered depending on the viewers perception of what they chose to click on.

Yeah, I went for 2 of each

I have heard the same thing, but don't have proof. Carson told me.

I think most people understand that a link is a link because of the color, while some folks may not assume an image is clickable unless it looks like an actual button or says "click here".

I think it depends on your page or post and what will make it look appealing. A lot of people who use the internet are very visual and want to see the pictures. I personally use both, depending on what fits best with my writing. I'm not sure you could prove or disprove one or the other. They both work.
