or do I have to purchase a domain to have an email that has my URL in it. Kyle said in the lesson that it is much more effective to have my URL as my email instead of using @gma

May i ask why they do not allow siterubix url to be used in creating the email? Is there a way to bypass this problem?

Siterubix is a subdomain (WA owns it), you need your own domain to create domain specific email.

If i create a yahoo mail / gmail, can i use it and put in my website as my website's email address?

Yes, you can put your Gmail/yahoo mail on your website until you purchase your own domain.

If your website is a sub domain of siterubix, you won't be able to create a domain name based email.

You can verify this by trying to create your email account .

Thank you Tich, and yes I tried, I'm looking in a to buying one just going to use outlook to create an email for. This is holding up my lessons and getting my first couple pages up. I'm going to get those going then look into purchasing a domain..... Thank you for your reply though, everyone here has been so helpful!

hello. A lot of people ask this question. But it's hard to find a definitive answer. But I think Kyle said somewhere in a training video that you cannot create a siterubrix email. When you bump into Kyle, ask him and then post a blog on it. People want to know the definitive answer. Having said that there are few options here.

1. Try to create it via your site manager. If you get a warning, then you have your answer.
2. You can create a link to your own email, i.e. gmail.
3. You can buy a domain and do as Kyle recommends
4. If you buy the domain name, you can also forward that new domain name-email to your existing personal email, i.e. gmail. And so, all your domain emails flow to one personal account which is what I do.

Is there somewhere you would recommend to buy a domain name that doesn't cost a fortune? I'm also not sure how to do this..... I've was looking into web hosting which of course included a domain name and I actually pay monthly for a site now that I'm doing nothing with because I didn't now how to set up the site. I had set up this site to do affiliate marketing for a online women's clothing site. I did not choose this as my niche for my website here because after starting the training here, I questioned rather or not I could make money in such a competitive market.

well, you a few choices. GoDaddy and NameCheap are the two that many people use. I have domain names in both places. My long term goal is to move it all to NameCheap. It doesn't cost a fortune. It averages out to about 12.00 per year. And there are promos to watch for where you can get a free year. I wrote about that. And I've done what you wrote about....paying monthly for a site and doing nothing....at GoDaddy...and I let it expire and focused here at WA. You should do everything to cut out the unnecessary expenses. And make sure NONE of your previous purchases are set to "recurring" otherwise it automatically renews and you are charged. Try to organize and clean things up and focus on one place to do your work.

WA is a good place. And there are good folks here who do fashion sites. You might want to start a blog to invite them to comment. that can be a network for you as you decide on your long term direction.

you have to nme your domain, it is ur brand, so find a title u like most and add .com , com is highly ranked :)

Thank you PastorTae! I appreciate the advice and will try your suggestions.
I agree about WA, I already love it here!

yes, the training and the community make it worthwhile. And I do feel like I'm getting the most out of my time and financial investment. Blessings to you.

Thank you so much for your help and advice! I really appreciate it!

Thank you Manchini I really appreciate your help and advice!

my pleasure. And if you have domain names in other places. And if you have about year left on it, then leave it there until you see a promo from NameCheap. You might get a free year when you transfer it during their promo. Otherwise, there is a small transfer fee involved without any additional benefits.

Cool! Thanks again!

it is right, if your mail is iin ur domain you will be better selected for your affiliate programs, but for this you need to purchase domain, it is better, caz in suterubix, you will not be able to get high ranking :)

Where would you recommend I go to purchase my own domain? I have heard that some are inexpensive and some are pretty expensive. Is there advantages with the more expensive ones?

Kyle recommends namecheap, and I bought my domain there and have hosting on WA :)

Thank you Manchini! I will check that out.

I know what you mean. They will offer you domain names that can be several thousand dollars. But at this point in the game, it is NOT necessary to buy them. Find a good .com name (under 15.00) and then focus on writing quality content which is what ultimately drives the traffic to your site.

namecheap offers domains for around 10 USDs no thousand dollars

yeah....10 to 12 USD. That's been my experience for .com names. The .net .org and others might cheaper but .com is what you want

Just wanting to know f one can go with the Affiliate Bootcamp and then come back and set up a website by going through the online training initially p

Yes you can. As you described, doing one before starting on the next is the way to go. Do not do them both at the same time, (taking a break at one and so on) Enjoy and have fun ! :)

Thank you Eriksen! I am glad to be a part of this community and the training is amazing! I am definitely going to learn all I can here.

Good Luck ! :)
