Tragically loss of a best friend bring me down!
Good day to all!
I am so affected by my best friend tragically!
He contacts me and told me he's going to bring his mother to hospital due to COVID, then his father need to emergency also (back in the Philippines) because his two sibling were in London and California they can't come home. He faces it all by himself.
I stay with him by messenger chat everyday by talking to him since September 14, 2021, trying to encourage him to go through while cremation of his father (retired Major Lapar in Fort Magsaysay Reserve Military), everyone known him in our hometown.
September 16, my bestfriend Reinaldo C Lapar, he's been diagnosed positive, everyday we chat until he sent me video and said he can't go on anymore Sept 21, never heard from him until I ask my people to go to theirs house as they were only few blocks away from my house.
The cousin told to my people that he passed away Sept 24, and I am in distress since. . . Monday was confirmed I lost my best friend who was there with me when I am dealing my health and talk to me every day, even we are apart million miles away he's always there and become our secrets to all that I am dealing a BC.but with his encouragement I surpass.
It hurt me so much knowing the person I watch dying to covid literally. I can't imagine as my youngest brother told me they were planning to surprised me when I get back this end of October, is gone.
Thanks my WA family for listening to my cry of helplessness as I can't hold it anymore I need to blurt it out!
Everyone please take extra care not to let covid take over us!

So sorry for your loss my Kabayan, lossing some very important peson in our life, although he is not connected to the family but the things he has done to you is more than just a brother, so it so hard to accept that in a matter of days he banished from your sight, so sad to think.
This covid19 is not as a simple virus, this is very deadly virus.
My brotherly advise to you my Kabayan is, just take it easy, perhaps send him some prayers that his soul may rest in peace.
Yes the least I can do now to pray 40 days to let him go freely as what our belief so to speak. . . but kababayan super sakit as I watch him died literally and on top of it he died alone!
His family were all in abroad!

So sorry to hear about your plight. Thank God we have the vaccines that can protect us from this scourge. It is no coincidence that very few who are vaccinated get terribly sick and possibly die.
Your advice is very important. We must take care of ourselves against COVID. Especially the Delta variant.

I am so sorry, ….the loss of anyone significant and struggling with “the every day” is (for me at least) a physical and sometimes debilitating pain.
The loss of a god friend is sometimes even paradoxically tougher than family.
I am thinking of you you and when I light my candle this evening I will think and pray for you. 🙏

Exactly the pain I am dealing with as he takes all his might infront of me knowing he will be ok the following day, if only i know i did not stop talking to him.

Beside he's the one i got when I am in my difficult facing my health. Now he's gone that I am free from BC.
