The ranking on WA is a measure of your activity within the community. It is measured in relation to the activity of others, so even if you are very active, your rank will not change much if others are equally or more active.
There can be only one with the rank you have, so if you move in rank, others will move up or down too.
I always recommend not to focus too much on your WA rank. It has no impact on the ranking of your website and it is very easy to lose focus on the important tasks of building a business if you focus too much on improving your WA rank.
Joana I would not worry about what rank you are.
It will have absolutely no bearing on how well or badly you are doing creating a home business.
Ranking goes up and down like a yoyo and to be honest with you a lot of your fellow members don't care what their rank is.
This is simply because they concentrate 100% on why they are here and that of course is to learn how to make money from the internet.

Initially I had the same response as Jay, but then I realized you're likely referring to WA rank. It just shows that you're active within the community, it doesn't come with any special/monetary privileges (though it's likely you will increase your network faster).
