Checklist of WA
As a premium member you can make your money back once you start monetizing, so its a no-brainer. If you have a business its an expense. After all you are making an investment for the Government to earn more money from you. Take it back.
The training is very good and long so schedule it in your already busy life. Take notes and review your notes every now and again. There is nothing worse than getting your hands on the task and then asking oh, where did I read about how to target facebook members in India. But please do not waste time reading all the literature before you start. Just do it, make mistakes and learn. Procastination is a disease, we all have it.
Choosing your Niche is in the training. Hmm people dream about it. Test various names if you are not sure. But do one at time. Think about the point where the a customer will be spending their money when choosing a niche. Unless you are a charity or informational provider.
There are veterans on this platform. Thousands of them. Success is a relative. For some people in WA, money may not the their ultimate aim but to offer help and be recognised. (significance is a human need). Significance can drive someone to murderer only to make the headlines in the news. Ask questions and you will note the authorities on the platform. Don't be swayed by some of the abrupt answers. We are all here to learn. An excellent mechanic may be a terrible communicator - just saying. No hard feelings to mechanics. Follow people! Look at their websites. Offer your views. If you do it for someone, others will also help
Data is big business, please keep them, analyse it and make use of it. Ask me how later.

You make great points here and there are so many people who I can learn from. Long standing members and newbies. There are also people who have no authority who can't help but put in their pennies worth anyway.
With Grace and Gratitude

Great information. To me everything you said is common sense, but it certainly isn't for everyone. I love the training here. I love that you get to things as you go instead of having to wade through the training, like you have to in most sites. I like that it is put together in a logical order. I was at one site (very shortly) that taught you to copy and paste ads first, never telling you to where to place them. Them, for another gosh awful price, they would tell you how to set up a blog site. There was no hands on and I didn't care for their style of teaching. I left and soon found Wealthy Affiliate.
Hi Anita,
thanks for your reply and for sharing your experience at other sites.
Wish you the very best here at WA, I have no doubt we will surely achieve whatever level of success we are seeking.

Thank you for writing this post. I like the take it back line.
Hands-on-Training here at Wealthy Affiliate is awesome. The best on the Internet if you asked me. I hear great thing are coming out in the next few days. It's only going to get better.
Take a look. Big Things Are Looming! and Hints I agree with you; Procrastination is a disease. You know what's the treatment for procrastination, don't you? Training; we have to un-train ourselves, just like the way we trained to become a lazy thinker, fearful of the outcome, and dreamers with no plans, the opposite is the way to the cure. WA has a great platform.
Lovely infographic Joseph, with which program did you make it?
And yes, not everybody here is aiming for a $ix figure income, however, everybody can take advantage of that opportunity here:)
I have checked it, and this is only a free option for students, when you want to use it for your business you have to pay $49 a/mth
That's quite a lot!
Loes,
I use the premium version which cost me $190/year. There are loads of templates in there for a small to medium size company. The difference between the business and the premium version is the business reporting bit. They are nice to have but can be done without for more than double the price of the premium.

J
