If you have saved your theme to your Desktop then you simply go into your WP Themes section and click on Add New Them or whatever it happens to say at the top left of the page.
You then click on upload and find your theme on your Desktop.
Click on it and thats it.
You then activate it after you have uploaded it.

To clarify, I have uploaded the theme. It's after I upload it that the purchase code does not activate the theme.
Then that has got to be the Themes owners and in your case their Support Team.
I actually don't understand why you would need a purchase code.
You bought the theme, you own it and shouldn't need any code to activate it.
Keep at their Support until the do something constructive and get it working for you.

Sounds like you need to contact WA support and ask them to whitelist the server that your theme needs to communicate with.
I had the same problem with a theme purchased from themeforest.

There is only one solution:
Contact Site Support!
Always the first point of contact!
Outgoing connections are blocked by their Firewall, they will look into your theme and see where the connection goes and if it is safe.
Then they will tell you to try again. :))
Worked for me many times (am a hardcore Themeforest Codecanyon fan :)) )
Good Luck!
