I want to list product categories and link them to the product pages. Do I need to have an ecommerce website to do this?
If you are speaking about affiliate products, you can build a site around products by list categories as menu items and putting product pages under the appropriate menu heading. I have done this on fishingluremart.com. I am still building the site but I have listed product categories and then added product pages.

I am on Lesson2 of Course 2 and have organized my menu and saved it. How do I refresh my website? I have gone to Dashboard and clicked on my website at the top but don't know h

I ask because your site can and will accumulate a lot of crap and this can and does affect your sites functionality.
Best to clear your DNS Cache once a week.

When you create a menu, you need to assign it to 'primary menu' or 'secondary menu' depending on your theme. This is one reason why you could have a menu setup, but not showing.
There is a check box under the menu to do this. Let me know how you go :)

Hello Joyce. I viewed your site and you actually have two menus.
I would get rid of the one at the very top and leave the second one or vice versa depending on your preference.
I still think you should clean your DNS Cache now and again to get rid of crap that build up in your WP database over time.
Get back to me with a PM if you want instructions for anything.
