My New Marketing Strategy

In my zest to promote the wealthy affiliate program, I am in a conundrum. I begin to question the strategy of my campaign. Moreover, I have clarified a more complete strategy. In the beginning, I consistently wrote content. And I ended each post with a CTA. I now realize that having a site full of relevant content is not enough.

My content is made up of posts that cover everything WA could offer an affiliate in terms of online marketing. I was putting the cart before the horse. See, how could I promote WA without promoting my website first? I learned through trial and error, that It is not enough to wright quality content.

My New Marketing Strategy

Writing quality content is not a marketing strategy, it is only part of an overall marketing strategy. The total package of a content marketing campaign is to promote the goods you offer true enough. However, you must promote your website first.

Moreover, you can promote a website by making it valuable, and my it being content structured your content has to be the first priority. One has to offer the show, help, and inform aspect when presenting content, by using a different approach to each component.

"Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free."

Therefore, when you publish a post with a content marketing format, give just enough, so they will want more.

I found myself giving away so much milk, I mean content, even my wife asked: "What are you doing?

I published tips, how-to's, and "what is best" type articles. Visitors come to my site to learn and copy, and bookmark my articles.

Where is the marketing? My site has 300+ posts, it is just a wealth of information. Therefore, from now on I will direct visitors to my welcome, introduction, our community, my review, and my "about me" posts.

All other content can be accessed through email subscription or the WA trial period. I am grinding out content with no ROI to show for it. The pages I have selected to leave open to the public will give some detail information about what my website and WA offers.

As they say "you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink." I really would appreciate some feedback and or comments about this strategy. Thanks for your input if you choose to do so.
