Failed Miserably!
About a year ago, I made a 1 Year Goal at Wealthy Affiliate. It was to continue posting 3-5x a week, and make $10k in a month. Needless to say, I failed miserably!
I had to return to work last year and it slowed down my progress tremendously. I am down to posting 2x a week, and I've made a few hundred dollars, but no where near $10k. Lol
I can only laugh now because I remember my state of mind when I first joined. I really thought this was going to be easy. The saying remains true, nothing great in life comes easy! I've learned that this is going to take a lot of hard work.
It's sort of like working out. Everyone wants that built/tone body, but no one wants to commit to the lifestyle. It's unbelievable that some of us go into the gym and expect to have the body we want within a month, or two, or three. When the truth is you'll be lucky if you have it within a year. By year 2 or 3, you should definitely be there, or really close too it.
So it is, I have extended these goals to be accomplished within my year 3.
The Good News
Surprisingly I've been making money online (with my website), and consistently. I've actually made enough to cover my yearly expense, and I'm really happy about that. For anyone on the fence about internet marketing, know this. You can achieve it, but it's going to take a lot of elbow grease.
It really is a mind shift. Work for the outcome. In 5 years, I want to be working from home, and making a comfortable full time income. Understand that this is not a overnight success program, nor does one exist. Only then, can you really commit to earning results online. :-)

Websites don't get full traction until 18 months according to Neil Patel. You've done great averaging 3 to 5 per week. How are your rankings on Google and what is your traffic like? This has a big bearing on earnings obviously.
Yeah I heard Neil Patel was awesome! I don't have anything on page 1 yet. According to Kyle I was gaming the same keywords over and over again and that may have raised a red flag with Google.
Turns out you need to target different keywords when first starting out. Not the same, is ____ a scam, all the time.I currently get about 50 visitors a month just from my youtube videos and fb business page.
Totally waiting for that 18 month mark so maybe I can get a boost in traffic!
