1) There are two (2) DNS server that your need to input in namecheap customer DNS. I can see you only have one?
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
2) Do it right, it should be fast.
Maybe you can check again the DNS.
thank you. I did it in both NS1 and NS2 actually there were NS3 and NS4 on the original that I placed it. when I checked again the other day it was just NS 1 an NS2. It's been since Monday that I had done that. Am I missing something else?

What is this file that Amazon tells me I need to edit? Is it something I have, something I need or not?
It's a tool which tells search engines such as Google and Bing which pages they shouldn't index (i.e. so that the page won't show up on search results). This can be good for e.g. admin folders and similar content which you don't want to expose.

Here is a plugin for Wordpress that helps to create a robots.txt file (install it from your admin section in Wordpress, under plugins --> Add plugin)

Do you recommend having a robot.txt file? Sounds to me like it would be specific to certain pages, or is it for the entire site? Amazon says I need to "fix" this file so that google can search. I'm not sure that I have any pages that I don't want google/bing to search, so do I need the robot.txt file?
Are you using wordpress? If so, yes I recommend having a robot.txt file.Google will be able to search anyway but if you don't have a robots.txt file, Google will also index web directories such as your administration area (typically placed under yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/ ). You want to avoid this.

I tried the refresh and it didn't work. the funny thing is that the site is still the old colors, but I go to the customize area to attempt the change there - it views with my new color template. the live site does not. I'm a bit confused and will need to study a bit more.

You may want to find a more inclusive plugin that offers you the option of including Pinterest.
Also: please note the warning detailing that Sociable has not been updated in over 2 years. That alone would have me searching for a new plugin.
