I'm on the mend

Last Update: October 13, 2020

It's been an arduous journey for me but I'm slowly healing.

I just wanted all my many friends at WA know that their prayers, thoughts and kind words have made a gradual difference to my life.

For the first time in she's I'm able to get off my bed, walk around and even sit in a chair for short spells.

Each session with my Acupuncturist Neville has helped me to better deal with my pain and to have some hope for the future.

My Grandaughter Jaimie brought Neville to our home because I was unable to get to his practice.

I was very skeptical at the time but Neville promised he'd have me walking again soon.

My confidence in him has grown with every visit. It's not all about Acupuncture with him, it's also about Gentle, beneficial exercise. He showed me how to do three easy ones while laying flat on my back on my bed.

After three sessions he had me up and walking.

But I sincerely believe that your prayers, thoughts and interventions also helped.

My love goes out to all of you for caring so much.

All the best. Jim

The future looks promising to me.

Hi Jim,
I am glad to hear, myself, you are making progress. Also, try and see if you can completely relax yourself, your muscles and your mind. It will also gradually help with the pain. If you are feeling anxious to get back to what you are doing, you need to be patient and just relax yourself. Because if you are not relaxed and feeling anxious, it does have effect on all of your muscles, they tense up and will not help with the healing. So practice everyday, close your eyes, relax your muscles, mind, and your whole being. You can do it while sitting on a chair.

Hope you feel better each day!

Thank you Evelyn
I will definitely give that a try. Up to yesterday I couldn't actually sit.

If you feel better, that means you are coming back to being normal again. I also want to point out from experience to you that acupuncture therapy works. I had my days and I'm better than ever. The fact that I like to exercise and proper dieting, played an important part on sustaining my well being afterwards. This means that you have to treat the body as a whole. Wish you the best on your recovery friend. Take care.

Dear Jim,

As someone recovering from Stroke, I know how difficult it is to lie helplessly there. The fact that you once had a thriving life and can now do little but lie there adds to your frustration. But where there is life, there is hope - and hope is such a great thing!

Hang on to hope, Jim and more hope will abound.

Cheers!

Dafe

Thank god that the acupuncture sessions help, now continue with it, I hope that you, together with our prayers can build very strong healing power. We will continue to pray, you will continue to work on yourself, it is a shame that the doctors still let people go through such a pain, a well-adjusted pain therapy is not too much to ask when you have as much pain as you. Hold on to my Friend, I wish you and your wife a lot of strength and love.
