Have You Thought About Hiring a Writer
In my previous blog I discussed not being afraid to pay for help.
This help does not necessarily mean hiring someone. It can mean furthering your education.
Before you get all funny with me
Yes, I'm aware we have excellent training here at WA. We also have incredible extended training modules provided by our fellow members.
BUT
Not everything is covered.
For example, I decided several months ago that I would like to build an e commerce site here at WA. However, I found the training available very limited.
I know.
WA is primarily a blogging site. But it is also a hosting platform that provides us with 10 to 25 websites ( depending on when you joined).
So what will we do with all those websites?
Do we really want to use everyone of them for blogging.
I don't know about you, but the thought of writing blogs for 24 websites is a real turnoff. I love writing, but not that much.
Getting back to the point. I decided I wanted to build an e commerce site.
But I couldn't do it with the training available at WA.
So I researched different learning platforms.
Some wanted too much of a commitment. I have completed enough post High school study, I don't need a diploma or degree .
Others wanted a monthly fee just to access their site.
Then there were those that provided weak, unprofessional courses' that really didn't help.
Finally, I came across Udemy.
What a fantastic learning platform
Membership is free.
There are thousands of courses' available, and the majority of them cost below $50.
The three courses' I completed, cost me less then $50 total.
So far I have studied two e-commerce courses' and one 'hiring a writer' Course.
Don't forget that spending money on these courses' means you are investing money in your business.

Thanks for the food for thought. I like Udemy too. I have done many courses there. You get maximum if the courses under $15 in most of the time.
Udemy is really a great platform to learn. Most importantly, you have the access to the instructors, most of them respond really quick.

I'm actually all for paying people to do jobs. In the best possible way it is far easier for me to stick to my off-line and online business and pay people to do jobs at home and associated tasks that I do not want to do or cannot do.
My wife has taken a few Udemy courses, they have a great number of courses at very good prices, as you rightly mentioned Jim.
We actually purchased an Amazon course, this has a forum and is fully supported if you have a question. This is very good indeed and excellent value for money.
Some people would agree with me, but I don't really know why we need all these universities and colleges now as we can educate ourselves at home online.

I hear you Jim! I discovered this last year when I went to look at Jerry's training, as I was paying monthly. However last November I went to an annual subscription. I must admit until I went to Jerry's training, I didn't realise this feature was available.

Hi Jim,
I have been using Udemy for a while, and you have no idea how much I have learned. I am thankful that I bumped into WA, for other reasons.
