Lately I've noticed a number of questions from new members asking about income
When will I start earning an income?
When did others start earning an income?
How much money do you earn?
Can you make a living from having your own website?
And many more questions centered around making money.
I have started a number of off-line business's over the years.
I have also managed a number of others.
Some made me a good income, others became a burden.
There has nearly always been several common themes in any business I was involved with.
I always found it necessary to love what I was doing.
Except for my years in banking.. which I hated.
Customer service has always driven me.
It's important to know, understand and appreciate your customers.
My own business's always consisted of me chasing a dream, a lifestyle.
Never Money.
Now you might not agree, everyone is different.
I use these same principles with my new online business.
I have a dream, a vision of what I wish to achieve. I will chase that dream relentlessly.
Hopefully it will make me a reasonable living.
But hey, if it doesn't, I'm certainly enjoying the journey.

The know you for sharing, Jim. You are right too but what attracts people (into WA) is the monetary achievement. Once the basic need is met, then it will be the higher level of Maslow’s hierarchy-Self esteem or ego levels. This is a self contradicting world :o)

Many people dream BIG and there is nothing wrong with that, but dreams without any action stay that... only a dream.
May all our actions in 2019 be like growing a tree, the fruit will fall off even if it is not plucked.

Probably, I'm the slowest in the pack, but I'm moving forward nonetheless.
