Great Quote # 10
I hope you are all enjoying my quotes, I try to keep them relevant to our day to day struggles in WA.
You Can't Please Everyone.
It seems that for some reason my last quote upset one of our members. It's not my intention to do that and I have no idea why he was annoyed.
He plastered a number of strange comments on other members comments about the quote. In one aimed directly at me he told me to 'grow up'.
My grandchildren and great-grandchildren tell me that I act like a child sometimes. I tell them that's fine, children have more fun.
But the one comment he made that managed to hurt me was a suggestion that I was probably successful already and had no idea what it was like to work hard.
Why did it get to me?
Because I came to WA to try to make a reasonable living to replace my current income. I have worked hard for most of my life. My body is tired and riddled with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. It's basically worn out.
But I didn't come here to complain. I came here to grow, learn and develop.

People don't have respect and don't say what annoys them and that is not right they should have enough respect and come forth and say what is bothering them.

You know, Jim, people that make comments like that really make my blood boil. Do you suppose this person even thought about what they wrote??
No, I don't think they did because if they even thought about it before they wrote it they would realize that it takes hard work to be successful in anything whether it's learning to walk, (how many time does a baby fall down before it learns to walk?), all the way up to building a successful business.
It takes a lot of hard work just to get through school especially if it includes University.
Every step we complete here is a success and involves work. You don't get something for nothing.
As Yoda would say, "Luke, thinking, you are not".
I guess it's inevitable, there is always going to be one.
Stick to your guns, Jim and to the other person?, I agree, it just might be time for them to grow up. Bullying is not allowed in WA.
