Blog challenge
So Fleurallen has inspired me.
Fleur has inspired me. In her last blog she talked about aiming for 100,000 word blogging Marathon in 122 days. My first reaction was just how impossible that would be for me. After all, I have to work every day.
But Fleur let me know... so does she... work I mean.
Then I thought about it a bit more. I'm a person who always loved challenges, so what has happened to me. Have I grown to old. Am I really that old timer I often write about?
Could I still set myself challenges like I would have done when I was younger?
Can I Challenge Myself?
I asked myself that question for most of the afternoon and evening without actually giving myself an answer.
The next day I got up very early, as I usually do, and got straight to work on WA. I was about to complete an article that I have been constructing for a few days.
Then It Hit Me..
Ok. So I had a 'Light Bulb' moment. If Fleur could set herself a challenge, why couldn't I? I didn't want to set a figure I mightn't reach, so what would I set it at and how long would I give myself.
I decided I'd cheat a little and set the date back to the 9th September, when I had started my current website blog. That way I would already have a few thousand words under my belt.
WHY NOT?
Why not indeed! I can set my own rules if I want... Can't I?
So What Goals did I set for myself. What figure would motivate me to try harder.. to exceed.
OKAY!! Here They Are..
50,000 WORDS FROM THE 9th of September through to December 31st.
You can be sure that I'll be giving it everything I've got. I'm determined to reach those goals. I have already made up ten templates in Site Content with basic headlines and ideas for my next series of blogs.
These fingers are going to be running hot.
As a side note, there was another reason for choosing the 9th of September. It was my oldest grandsons birthday. He was born on the 9/9/1999. And my lucky number has always been 9.
Between him and Fleur I have all the inspiration I need.
Anyone else out there want to take up the challenge.
It's moments like this that you realise "success at wealthy affiliate" really is possible
All the best. Jim

Hey Jim,
I will be looking forward to hearing from both you and Fleur. I have given myself a short challenge to stay more active in blogging during the month of September and October. I posted a blog today about this very thing!!!
