What is PHP Update?

I am seeing a "PHP Update Required" notification in my dashboard, what is it and what do I need to do?

What I don't understand is that it has been in the beta version for at least the last 5 months. They must be having a lot of issues if they are not rolling it out to everyone.
Hi Jivita, you will need to contact site support and they will update you to the new PHP. From what I understand this is a beta version but WA has plans on upgrading their servers in the near future.

for stopping by, yes I have contacted site support and they said nothing to worry about it:)
I have just asked site support and have been assured that it is nothing to worry about.

It is only a worry if you have a plug-in that needs a later version of PHP to work or you are planning to install a plug-in that needs a higher PHP version.
if you have that - ask support to move you to the newer servers with the updated version of php.

I sent a message to site support and gave my site URL that needed updating and asked them to do the update.
If you have more than one site give them the URL to check if they also need updating.
They will tell you that you need to leave WA for 3-4 hours while it is done, so plan for it
