For me personally Positive Thinking help immensely.

Positive thinking really helps a lot,
especially in difficult situations,

I work with affirmations and meditation to boost myself

Meditation can help you a lot,

Research shows that Meditation keeps you more healthy.

For example, in one of the research it shows that the people who meditated daily continued to display increased mindfulness, purpose in life, social support, and decreased illness symptoms.

Binary beats that raise frequencies, meditations, affirmations, working on my website that has to do with being in a blissed mind :) trying to stay in the present and not let my mind wander. (easier said than done sometimes) Visualizing what I want to be accomplished already done, the list goes on.

Yes, I absolutely do think positive thinking works. Positive Affirmations work. Mindfulness is important. It helps when we are stressed out. I find that it helps me to be able to handle things better. I like that affirmation graphic that you posted. I will work on applying this thought daily.

Self-written affirmations with specific details will help to increase visualizations. The purpose of doing that is so you see yourself in possession of your desire.

To really help you boost the effectiveness, work on your emotions and increase your emotional intelligence. Then you can control your moods just by visualizing anything you connect with each emotion.

Napoleon Hill wrote about how well auto-suggestion, faith, and a burning desire will make it almost a guarantee you will get what you desire most.

The idea is to practice this daily for 30, 60, 90 days or longer so you make it a habit. After all the mind helps you achieve whatever it is that you obsess about the most.

When there are only positive thoughts on your mind, your life will be geared to finding all the most beneficial results you are after.

It takes practice, patience, and a lot of persistence to wash out the negatives and replace them with positives. This is just one way to transform your life which I have found that works as long as you do it.

really like your concept of affirmations and visualizing with emotions, definitely going to practice now.

I feel there are many good books (like Learned Optimism by Martin Seligman) about this that absolutely emphasize the need for being optimistic and positive thinking.

What they imply is that it's not about always focusing on the positive but that you have to have a generally positive outlook on life to truly make great things happen in life.

In that sense, there's nothing wrong with anticipating and preparing for the bad. In fact, the very thing takes off a lot of anxiety and has been said to let you free up a lot of energy, which then can be focused on making things right. Making great things happen.

Thanks Matiss, that's really helpful, surely going to check out Martin Seligman.

For me, a good restful 8 hours of sleep does wonders and well as plenty of hydration. These things help me feel better physically. If I feel good I tend to think more positively.

Also important to not spend too much time with a negative thinker. It rubs off and brings me down.

And I think the majority of WA community is positive thinkers. We have to be to do this. It’s a lot of hard work and you have to believe the glass is half full to do this in my opinion.

I agree, when I am tired or dehydrated I do tend to get more negative and yes negativity can multiply like wildfire.

Thinking positive is so important. I believe that whatever you think manifests itself. If you dwell on the worst then the worst will happen. If you think positively then that is what you put out in the atmosphere.

Meditation is also very good as it helps to rid your mind and body of all its toxins both physically and mentally.

Most definitely positive thinking works.

Some years back I lost everything, a house, money, the lot through business. And I am pretty sure people who have been in the same situation as myself, and thought negative about their predicament, unfortunately no longer with us.

Massive problems along with negativity can lead to suicide and often does. You must always think positive no matter how bad the situation is.

Absolutely Brad, totally agree with you.

All thinking works, in that it manifests itself in reality if the feelings behind the thoughts are strong enough.
This applies equally to both positive and negative feelings, rather than the actual thoughts. The actual manifestation of the thoughts comes from the associated feelings.
In 2003, we were looking to buy our first family home, after having been married the year before. We had a very clear idea of what we wanted and had even drawn out a floor plan because we were looking at going down the self-build route as an option. We'd even visited a self-build company that did kit houses on a turn key basis and 'our' house was actually in their list of plans!
We wanted to be rural with at least 1/4 of an acre plot of land.
We started house / land hunting and picked one out of an estate agents window as a sort of 'after thought' as we didn't feel it ticked all the boxes.
We went and viewed the house more to fill in time, and fell in love with it immediately and ended up buying it - moving to the countryside into a house on a 1/3 acre plot, which fitted our floor plan and dimensions almost to the millimetre!
We always thought and talked about 'our house' in the present tense, long before we owned it or even found it in the estate agent's window.
We bought furniture, accessories, etc, and had everything planned out as though it had already happened and we were already living in it., long before we even knew of it's actual physical existence.
We spent over 11 years that house and had our 2 Sons there.
Thinking about something in the present tense as though you're already in possession of it is key to it actually becoming your reality.
We're using the Law of Attraction all the time, every minute we're awake, without realizing it, but it is our feelings about the thoughts we're having rather than the actual thoughts which turn those thoughts into reality.
