Hello, my name is Jimmy, I live on the sunny West coast of Canada.

I have worked in the computer industry for a long time working on the bench doing hardware repairs, assembling computers, installing WiFi radios and pulling miles and miles of cable.

I am/was a type 2 diabetic, and I have found a way to manage type 2 diabetes naturally. I have lost 35 lbs and 4 inches off of my waist and my A1c is in the normal range.

I am not a doctor but I believe in natural solutions to medical issues.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” ? Hippocrates.

For those of you that have problems with obesity, non alcoholic fatty liver, insulin resistance, metabolic issues and type 2 diabetes, I can help you.

Check out my website under follow me on, read some of the posts and let me know what you think. If I have not answered your question(s), please ask.

I will always answer your questions and appreciate comments. PM me anytime, or let me know under my profile.

Long term plan, develop the website and make some more websites.

Thanks for dropping by.

Look forward to seeing you in the community.

Cheers.

These are really awesome goals James, I congratulate you on taking the first step in making them. Take action and be persistent towards achieving these. Make it happen.

You have everything that you need here within the community to get there...EVERYTHING! :)

I think you have very realistic goals. If you place such a wild amount that is so far out there to achieve it is easy to get discouraged and quit. Setting smaller goals while working your way to larger goals i believe will help you to stay more motivated.

Hello Jimmy, thanks for the follow. I have reciprocated. The natural treatment of diabetes is interesting to me as I am a Wellness Consultant. Am I missing something? How do I find your website? I don't think we are supposed to give out this information publicly but I am sure you can send me the details in a private message or is there somewhere I can click to find this out?

Hello Alister,

Type 2 diabetes is a dietary disease and is controlled through diet.
There are other factors that affect diabetes of course. I discuss that on my website. 😮

Type 1 diabetes is chronic and insulin is the only solution. 👎

Scroll down to bottom of my profile, and go to: Follow Me On and you will see a link to my website. 👍
Let me know if you have any questions, you can reply here, pm me or comment on my website anytime.

Appreciate your concern.👏

Hello Alan,

it is great to meet you.

I have had type 2 diabetes for almost the same amount of time but was able to put it into remission. You must change your lifestyle and then get into a routine. It is hard work but anyone can do it.

Main factors are to reduce fasting blood glucose, obesity and finally insulin resistance. Many people do not know about insulin resistance and I advise you to read my post on my website.

Cheers.

Hi, Jimmy.
Thank you. I thought I had looked there. Obviously, I missed it.

Great site. I briefly went over the LCHF diet and most of what you say makes complete sense. As you say, updates are always necessary.

I am pre-diabetic and I know too many people in the Type 1 & Type 2 trap.

Based on your suggestion from an another post here, I started a Keto-Based diet a couple of days ago. I can see differences already.

Question for you.

I, being of East Indian background was raised on a mostly vegetarian diet (I do eat meat and love my curries) that includes Chapaties (Flat, unleavened whole wheat bread) with almost every meal.

I have to admit that I am addicted to all of the various flat breads offered from all over the world.

Your thoughts...suggestions...some guidance?

Kindest regards,

Paul.

P.S.
Have you considered a 'Share' button on your site?

Hello Paul,

Being prediabetic means you are type 2 diabetic. Great idea to go Keto, in doing so you need to eliminate sugar completely.

This means sugar, added sugar, sugar additives and so on. Meat and curries are fine as long as they are natural and cooked by you.

I eat chicken almost daily and feed it to my dog. We never eat canned or processed food.

Go very easy on the bread as the flour in bread is processed and very high in sugar. In fact on the glycemic index white bread is 100. Very high. This is the bookmark and everything else is compared to this.

Check my post on Carb counting.

I recommend you read this book called Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore. Go to my LCHF diet page and go down to the bottom where it says recommended reading. Click on the link and It will link over to Amazon on my affiliate account.

For other guidance, I recommend you read all of the books I have listed on my posts and pages.

Get yourself a glucometer, I wrote a review that you can check out and check your blood glucose. I describe on that review how to set a baseline and if you want can check you glucose after any food you consume.

This should get you started into defeating type 2 diabetes.

Lastly, the share button is a good idea I do have a G+ account and will add more as I progress.

I hope this helps. Contact me anytime.

Thank you for the follow and I am following in return. Your background is definitely an asset.

One thing that I tell new ones is that the biggest concept to gain is content writing. Setting up the site is not that difficult, some including myself took a long time to realize how to drive traffic to the site.

In my niche it is promoting WA...therefore my content writing is different than that of a site that is more basic or themed towards products or services.

I learned early on to learn from my own search practice...if your site is one that the visitor is doing massive research they are more likely to race through your content trying to cover as much ground as possible.

That being the case make it easy for the visitor...

You will notice that in what I am writing there is never a paragraph longer than four sentences. It is easier for the visitor to engage and then possibly convert them to the "call for action".

Most new people have a tendency to try and skip ahead...I made that mistake...I am betting with your back ground you will grab on to the mechanics quickly.

Good luck and hope all works for you.

Hi Jimmy (and Paris):

What a cute dog. I know exactly what you mean about your body not being able to take the pressure anymore of a day in and day out job. Many people start working with WA for that reason.

Thank you for following me and thank you for the nice comments you left on my profile Jimmy. I like designing tutorials here at WA because I have always believed in the philosophy of paying it forward and that is what WA a great place because they share the same philosophy as I do.

With your background and expertise you too would be awesome at designing tutorials here at WA. With your networking and enterprise WiFi experience, you could design tutorials that help people with their Internet and computer complications. For instance, I have designed tutorials on HTML, creative writing, WordPress, GIMP, etc. but what many people need is assistance with understanding their specific computer setups and I for one have no knowledge on how to tell someone else how to fix their computers because I am only familiar with my computer. But you have the kind of knowledge on all models and types of computers and Internet and WiFi setups that you can walk various users through those difficulties.

Anyways, sorry for the rambling on your profile. Thanks again and please keep in touch.

Hello Jimmy,♫Welcome! Nice to meet you ツ I wish you a lot of learning pleasure and fun on WA. Thank you for following me.

From the start, I have written training for every issue I had problems with myself. I also made a list of 1001 niche ideas, a checklist with 25 points to go through before you publish a post, 101 blogging ideas when you get stuck and an A-Z WA dictionary. I just love lists:) It has been very helpful to a lot of people. I have listed them in one blog you can find on my profile. I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Hello Kyle I have a bunch of ideas based on my interests. They are: 1. Setting up a WiFi home router, something to do wifh WiFi. 2. Animal care - Pets - foods - specifically dogs and small birds. 3. Music - harmonicas how to play..... I think I have a start with these topics. Each needs a little more refinement. What do you think....

Hello Kyle I am now at lesson 4 and would like a comment on these Niches I have picked below. Please tell me what you think. Thanks.

What aspect of dogs? What aspect of small birds? Playing the harmonica could definitely be a niche.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Hello Kyle

Sorry for the delayed response. I was checking out other members web sites.
In answer to the questions see below.
What aspect of dogs? Care of dogs. What aspect of small birds? Care of birds. Playing the harmonica could definitely be a niche.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that _are novices and are looking for help_.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)
