I am very new to this and I do not understand CONTENT
Can someone explain in simple terms, what is content for my website?
Well, I am very new as well. I think you are referring to the keyword rich content. I am writing about a subject, I'm very passionate about and actively involved with. So I wrote my heart write out. We were then told to publish it. Which I did. I found this messy. I am now using menus and widgets to sort it out. I probably did this step wrong. I also use Grammarly on top of the WA grammar checker. This may not be necessary for you, English is my third language. WA's grammar checker is good, but I find Grammarly a better fit for me. If you have other questions just send a note.

Articles , reviews , blog posts , images , music and so on . Its everything inside your website
I was away for a couple of days and my apologise for not replying sooner I just realised that the badges on my page represent my progress and my web site is on google imagine

Content is simply simple the articles you write on your website, if you write an article on your site, that's content.
