I want to set up pages to preform as follows: A catagory "Machines", below a list of say 10 machines that when clicked on would take the viewer to a page about that machine. Ho

Simply have a Header Title in your Top/Main Menu and when you create pages you assign them to that Header.

So, in Edit Mode you type in your Title Box - Machines and Publish right away.
Then in Appearances - Menus - you make sure your Top/Main Menu is selected and appears on the right of the page.
You find that Machines title in the list on the left under pages and click Add To Menu button and it will appear on the right.

Thereafter when you publish a relevant page you assign it to that Machine Title on the right of the page when in Edit Mode.
Then you go to Menus again and find it and click Add To menu and it will appear on the right.
You make sure you move it up so that its under your Machines Menu Title but a fraction to the right.
When you view your site you will see the Machines Header and a little black triangle.
Click on that and page Titles will be showing underneath.
Hope you can follow this and if you get stuck then get in touch.
Robert

Want to thank you for the advice on PAGES set-up. I'm still fighting through it, delayed by work days.

You can also have Categories Heading in your Top/Main menu and place the relevant posts in them.
Robert

Hey Jim!

This training will show you how to set that up :) Hope this helps :)

Locatee my cretique on Berkely Library web site?

Looks like you will have to start again, lesson learned for future reference.
Robert

That really stinks! Sorry but you probably won't find it again.

Thanks for the effort. My problem is two fold in that not only have I lost my lenghty critique of the site, but I cant find the ssite to resume my work. I guess this is a flaw in the system, that you can't return to a project. Would you agree?

Do you mean in the SiteComments? Whenever I do a long comment, I copy it to my clipboard just in case of something like that happening. Surely a good habit to get into.

You will have to give more info than just that.
I for one have never heard of Berkely Library.
Robert

I was asssigned a web site titled LITERACY for comment. It had to do with Berkely Library in Mich. I was almost done, a lot of work to loose.

If you saved it, it will still be there somewhere.
Can't you contact someone within the Library?
Do they not have some sort of Contact Details for Support so you can get help?
