Hi all, I'm new here and struggling with a balance between being transparent but not necessarily wanting to be the "face" of my brand(s), I'd rather be behind-the-scenes and no

By all names use a pen name, but just don't "hide" behind your website.

Your availability and your authenticity that comes through the way you approach your content, is what will lead you establishing trust with your audience and ultimately your brand.

We use a pen name. You can use your pen name but it makes sense to use real facts in your content.

Thanks! Just knowing there are others doing this helps! Oh and for sure, I'll def use factual content.

Yah! Confirmation goes along ways.

Hi - yes, I have several sites, and a couple of them are under a pen name. Try not to stray too far from the truth with your bio.

You don't have to reveal anything personal, just how your interest in your niche came about, etc.

Thanks Diane! Good to know it's okay to use multiple names too, but yeah, I'll use factual content for sure!

For sure - definitely use a pen name. I have several websites in different niches so I have a different pen name and gravatar for each.

You can use your brand logo as your gravatar image also which works well for me, best of luck - hope that helps

It does help! Thanks for chiming in, it makes me feel waaay better about this!
