Me, me, me, it's all about me! gimme gimme gimme!
I've noticed that a lot of people, mentioning no names, in the social threads here where you share your posts of your websites are like this...
Hey checkout my recent post and give me a comment.
or
Would like some feedback on this post, please!
What goes through my mind is this "I better not go to their site because I don't think they'll reciprocate, I mean, they haven't even mentioned they'll do the same for anyone else, they're just thinking "I will tak for myself and screw everyone else, my time is more important than everyone else here" and "I am entitled"
Why should anyone want to do that? If you're not going to reciprocate then don't expect anyone to take time out of their already busy schedules for YOU YOU YOU.
RECIPROCATION
It's called reciprocation and it's the Wealthy Affiliate spirit. Sure, you might intend to reciprocate, but when you don't state that you'll reciprocate it makes people far less likely to want to go to your site, read your article and leave a comment (which improves YOUR rankings....) How will someone know if you will return the favour? They don't, because they see what I see...ME ME ME!
This is a give and take place, not a take take take place. If you want MORE comments on your site, state clearly in the thread that you're willing to reciprocate. Easy, right?
You scratch someone else's back and they'll scratch yours in return.
Watch this to understand what it's all about.
I'm sure you'll agree, when you get past the ME ME ME approach, you'll see how beneficial it is to scratch someone's back for them while asking that they scratch yours.
Whinge/Rant/Suggestion over!
Jimbo
PS. If I have any outstanding comments to leave for those who commented for me, it gets a little busy in that thread, please remind me by PM. I think over the last month there are maybe 2 or 3 people I've lost! I assure you I'll go and comment.

Agree. Anyway, the more you give the more the universe gives it to you back .
Take care.

Apologies Jimbo, I'm guilty in my last comments request of not writing that I will reciprocate the gesture (although I left 3 comments on other sites). Point noted.
Good video by the way (can't understand why the didn't hold the spoon further down the handle! Only kidding).
All the best Tommy
Yes Jim-Bo, some are like that by nature. Hopefully, your post reaches where it is needed!
Yeah, they might not be selfish, they just might not realize they should be offering to reciprocate...Most of them might be horrified to realize it.
Great post, WA is all about paying it forward. Giving without expectation is the best way to build trust and respect.
Cheers Kev
Hey Kev, my little brother's name is Kev! He ain't so little anymore though, he's 41 years old and about 3 inches taller than me!

Hahaha what is it with little brothers and kids. I am the youngest and o am taller than all my brothers. My three kids are all miles taller than me. Seems every generation grows taller.
You bro is lucky, there not too many Kevs about.
