Are the Steps Taken Enough?

As I write this post I am sitting at Hazel's desk in Riebeek Kasteel and, I can't help wondering #arethestepstakenenough to stop this epidemic from spreading.
The home in which my husband is being cared for, in their frail care, is in total shutdown. No-one knows if they have done the right thing, it will be a matter of time to see if it works.
So here I am.
Well, I was in Riebeek Kasteel and then in Langebaan but.....
Our President has declared a state of complete lock down. This started last night at 12.

Back home again.
Now the entire country is in lock down mode, and as I experienced the worst angina attack so far, while in Riebeek Kasteel, my family wanted me back home.
The retirement village I live in has nursing care if need be and I shall also be closer to my wonderful doctor.
STRANGE
It is absolutely amazing to hear the birds chirping outside. No noise from trucks or any traffic whatsoever.
Usually I hear the noise of vehicles during the night from the freeway.
All I heard last night was my neighbors pool pump come on, it sounded like the ocean, so was very peaceful.
The washing machine is humming, which is a comfort too as soon all the clothing will be clean again.
When one travels, it isn't always easy to keep up with the washing.
Where-ever you are in the world, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
This time will change our lives completely.
Who would have thought that a virus could do this to us in this day and age?
With all the various medications and antibiotics, one would have thought this could never happen.
PERHAPS- It will take this epidemic to make us appreciate each other more.
- Be more tolerant of each others' belief system.
- Open our hearts to the poor and needy.
- See the world in a different light.
- Appreciate all we have.
- Take nothing for granted.
- Enjoy the beautiful world.
- Outdoor pursuits.
- How sorry I feel for anyone who doesn't have any home hobbies they enjoy.
- For the sportsmen and women who can't partake in their chosen sport. Not even take a walk or run.
To be able to work from home, and loving it.
So many people will be out of work after this is all over.
Thank you to Kyle and Carson, and all at Wealthy Affiliate to make this a possibility for us.
Hopefully more people will learn of this great opportunity to work from home.
