Hi,
Is there anyone get rejected by Amazon based on invalid URL?
It's so hard to get 3 sales in Amazon. I've finally got the 3 qualifying sales that they requested. Now

I just got a reply from the Site Support.
Looks like there is an issue on the server that leads to the inaccessible issue.

No problem to access your site from the beautiful Pacific Northwest -:)

John

Thanks for the confirmation John :)

I can't access your website at all and this test shows that it takes 60 seconds to load nothing
https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/bj1pGM/worldofwaterfilter.com

That's weird.
Pingdom says that it is able to access it in 5.6s.

loaded up fine for me too. Did you send them a link, or was it just the website name in the application. If not a link, then they may have added the www. by mistake. Sorry don't know the answer, just trying to offer something to consider,

Thanks for confirming on my website.
I've sent an email to Amazon, hopefully they are able to revert the decision.

Hi,
I'm using WP Review plugins for my review table.
However, when I try to use google to search for my keyword, I couldn't see the review star on my page even though

Google decides whether it displays the stars or not.
Not much you can do besides writing high-quality content.

Really? In that case I would have to wait for Google to decide on that.

Yeah.
Nobody can force Google to do anything. ;)

I intent to have a newsfeed on my niche which I gather (or copy) all the news from other website for my reader. It comes with a disclaimer that the news comes from other webs

There are two separate issues.

From Google's perspective, you can do this. You can copy whole texts, no need for quotes or anything. With such a text compiled of complete copies. you can outrank original texts.

This is directly from Google's representative, there is a video so no interpretation. loud and clear. See more in my training: But there is a legal issue as pointed put by Ivy, I mentioned this in the training.

Just put the whole mess between QUOTE MARKS (use the quote symbol of the editor). That puts a [blockquote] at the beginning and a [/blockquote] at the end and tells the search engines that these are quotes and not to be looked at as duplicate content.

click quote symbol Paste Text Enter click Quote symbol

John

Oh is it? That's great. I didn't know the true usage of the blockquotes. Thanks John!

Good example.
A lot of people quoting Einstein's Definition of Insanity in respect to the never ending tax cuts for the rich in our glorious country:

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”.

Without the blockquote, Google would rate this as 'duplicate content'.

I use it when I list the usual Pro's and Con's or Talking Points for products I review

A few thoughts:

I've heard of news aggregate sites being sued for duplicating copyrighted content from media providers. Simply providing a disclaimer that it's copied will not be enough to prevent this. So be wary! Just because you seek to avoid being indexed by Google doesn't mean that the media owners will not find their content.

As a reader, I also don't find much value in having things just re-copied and blasted out in a feed. But - if you, through your sparkling personality, your background experience, and your education, are able to add some interpretive value to the news you curate and present - then I'm interested! What's your special spin on things?

My niche is about water filter and I'm looking to provide news about water contamination.
The news are all over the place in different website, so probably I could categorize them based on different state and provide readers with the latest news of water contamination in their state.
On top of that, I can also provide some suggestion of products that is useful to counter the problem. Just my thought.

Sure - you can quote sources, but again, you should be looking to add value of your own to what you're presenting to your audience. You have opinions about the news? Share them. Advice for concerned readers who may not understand it all? Share it! Sell yourself as an authority, not just the products.

PS: I use a GULL water purifier in my home - it's attached to our water and ice dispenser on the fridge. We also have a portable GULL for emergency situations that can be carried in a bag. Removes anthrax and radioactive particles... it's awesome!

P.P.S: so yes, I'd LOVE that niche. :)

Your website looks really good
I have a digital marketing website can you tell me how you became an affiliate for digital marketer, i noticed the side banner in your blog

Could you let me know how you became an affiliate for them

Many thanks in advance

I think the banner that you saw is from google ads which is on the bottom right corner. Probably previously you are searching for digital marketing and it popped up on my site.
You can go through the course in WA and it will teach you how to setup Google Adsense.

Good luck to you! :)

Great looking site.

I've been doing affiliate marketing for almost two years now and have a few different website up. Google usually does not give new websites the time of day for the first 4-5 months. They get little to no respect from Google.

But, usually around the 4-5 month mark Google will start to show some love to your site as long as the content is good and offers something sharable. I think you site does that.

Any month now you should start to see your site's page rankings level off in Google's ranks. As you keep adding more content and link building internally your pages should build up better rank.

I always tell people interested in getting started in this that they need to give their site 6 months of hard work. Then I tell them they need to give it another six months after that. Most sites will start to hit and generate around 6-8 months, at least a little something anyway, when they have some maturity and good content.

You can get traffic to your site in the earlier months through social media. It sounds like from your post you have been working in social media as well but not getting much results.

I do not get much love from the social media shares I do. Just a few hits per day.

One suggestion is to work on getting more content comments. Comments can help over time. It shows Google that your site is being talked about, and if a site is being talked about, Google will give it more credit on its content and help with ranking.

TD

Great answer!

TD, Thanks for your detail explanation based on your experience. It's time for be to build more contents now. I'm feeling recharged for seeing your comment and it really helps me keep going in building a better site. Thanks man! :)

You could try this

Thanks man. I will try the free credit from Bing.
Just a quick question, as for my current stage (4 months), should I continue to focus on building content rather than worrying about visitors?

I personally would only think about good content than anything else.
