I am new here, but I am also frustrated by employers controlling so much of my time, even if it was initially my day off.

I got out of the Air Force in 1990, started in private security in 1991. Then, private security worked closely with Law Enforcement, due to the rash of crimes, and the terrible murder rates Little Rock, AR was in in those days. So, I understand emergencies needing to call in from days off. However, I have noticed a trend of civilian employers taking on this trait of Emergency Services over the last decade, and my experiences with this trend have shown that there must be a change.

I am now here, and ready to make that change.
