Saved Time Discovered New WordPress Keyboard Short Cut
Today I had a 5523 word WordPress Post to edit and needed to find a specific word. I didn't like spending time trying to find it so looked for a faster way.
Here's what I found
Using CRTL with key " F" brings up a search box (watch for the flashing cursor at the top) while editing a WordPress post or page.
After typing in my chosen word in the search box, the word was hightlighted in the edited document.
This makes finding words so much easier in LONG WordPress documents.
Check out WordPress.org support for the existing ones.
Enjoy Using CTRL with your keyboard keys to save time.

Yeah George there are a number of ctrl commands that we should know. I feel really foolish sometimes that I spend so much time on my laptop and I don't know all these commands off the back of my hand. Thanks for the info.

I know its hard to remember them. The only way I remember them is by using them repeatedly.
I used to try that, but then I got so many cheat sheets I couldn't find them. I put them on my computer, but even then my list got long. Oh, the interesting challenges of not having a brain like computers.

George, in addition to saving time on your Wordpress post, you can also use that search feature almost everywhere. It is a real time-saver and can be used in notepad, emails, webpages, spreadsheets, adobe documents (but not images).
In spreadsheets and word documents, you can also use Ctrl H which will search for X and let you replace it with Y
Great to know.. Thanks so much for adding the additional helpful information.
