I hope all had a wonderful Christmas and made the best of the time spent with friends, family.

Now back to working and studying the material, we need to learn to improve our abilities for 2021.

This year, I will set some goals for 2021, something I have not done in years. The way I see it might keep me on track for the year.

Breaking down my goals for 2021

-Daily goals, set for each day

-Weekly goals, to be reviewed at the end of each week.

-Monthly plans also to be reviewed at the end of each month

-Finally, quarterly goals, again to be reviewed at the end of each quarter

Had to ask me, why am I doing this?

When l had plans and treated them seriously, I got results and understood where my weaknesses and improvements needed. Goals provide us with our own personal data that we can analyze; however, we decide to do with the information.

There was a system I used, and it was a pretty simple system to read my goals each morning and review them just before going to bed. I did this every day, and I started to improve in areas I had written down for the day, week, and end of the month.

What do we do when we get into our vehicles and are heading to somewhere different and have never been there. We set our GPS to get us where we need to go. What goals will you do if you follow the route.

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.” —Andrew Carnegie.

All the Best,

Joseph

Best of luck with your goals for 2021, Joseph! I suppose the trick is to make small incremental steps every day and to stick with them. Over time, those daily goals will lead to big results.
Thanks for sharing
Brendan

Hi Brendan, You hit the nail on the head; one small step daily leads you to accomplish bigger and bigger results.

Like a baby, learn how to crawl before you can walk. Then you can run and increase your speed. Thanks for the feedback, Brendan.

Joseph, yes I have some weekly goals set and have stuck to those all through 2020. I'm nowhere near the details that you have listed.
Good luck
Bux

Thank You, Bux; I decided to share this because I am not the only one who needs to know how to get your goals off the ground.

I figured a new year is approaching, and so many make a new year's resolution. Sey, a standard, make it last, how you make it is your way and comfort zone of understanding what needs to be done.

Will, it work for me, going to give it all I got.

Joe, I found by making a commitment to myself of one video a week without fail I stuck to it. Do the same with posts on your website, say two a week, no excuses. This is you yourself that you are making the promise to.
Good luck, I'm sure we will have lots of follow up posts.
Bux

You are up and on it! Well done and I wish you every success for the coming year! Goals are an absolute must and I am so excited for the year ahead.

Thanks, Rascal, just getting it all in writing format and then taking it a step daily. As they say, do a little, not a lot but become consistent with what you are doing. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes I agree having your goals and what you expect written out so you can follow. Alicia

Goals are like when we get into our car; we set the GPS to where we need to go. At one time, we used a road map, either it works. You get to your destination because you followed the route to get there. Thanks for your feedback.

Realistic goals Joseph
I would love to see how you get on

What do mean? You want an example?

Throughout the year Joseph. How are you going to monitor and track your goals. Success and failure?
Did you manage to stick to it? You can make us know all of these things in a blog as you go throughout 2021

That's a great idea, yes I can do that. I have been thinking about it for the last few days. I came across some of the material I had written several years ago.

I started to read them; then my mind sailed away back to the time I wrote what I had written, started to think about how my life was and reviewed daily affirmations I had written and used daily.

When I asked myself, why did I stop doing this? I decided to order two new courses, no not on self-improvement, but two courses I know will benefit my long term goals. Figure I owe myself a Christmas present.

We all know our minds work in mysterious ways. My thought process kept providing me with additional ideas on why I should go back to what worked.

This is the first step.

I agree that's the first step Joseph. Well, I will be looking for to see your progress blogs throughout 2021

Have no intentions of disappointing you, Simone. :}

Looking forward to us reading about and following your progress 😁

Thank you, Simone.

Always welcome Joseph
