Iif I ask a question and start a discussion, once the question has been answered to fulfillment is there a way to stop/shut down the discussion?
Yes. See the blue settings button at the top of this page, below the title, right under your username? If you click the arrow then 'Delete' will appear in the dropdown menu and you can delete the question/discussion.
Cheers,Stephanie
Thanks Stephanie, I appreciate the response. It was more about closing it to comments if it had been answered but thanks for showing me the settings button. Jewell
Got it!
Actually, it's nice that we can reopen discussions whenever something needs to be clarified rather than restarting a new discussion...

Is it possible to shut down a discussion?

Hi Iva,
After you get the answer to your question consider that others at Wealthy Affiliate will have the same questions that you have had. You never want to delete a question at WA once it's been answered.
Others may want to follow-up on the question, get some more clarity, or continue the discussion and that's exactly how we can help one another here at WA.
The ABSOLUTE best way to help others at WA, is to ask questions. When you ask a question and get answers, it provides others who have the same question, with answers too.
All questions at Wealthy Affiliate become available in our main search at the top of the page. So, anyone who has the same or a similar question to yours, will be able to see the discussion and learn from it.
I hope this helps, but you never want to delete a question once you've got answers. That would just prevent others from learning.

Oh that's a very good point. I was asking more about closing it to comments so others would know it was asked and answered. But I heard you so I'm good with letting it be.Thanks

I wrote my blog but didn't finish it and noticed it said "draft saved" so I moved on to other things. I just went back in to do som
Well that would be a no. Uugh! I thought when it said "draft saved" that I didn't need to do anything further and I didn't see where it said update. I will redo it and hit update this time! Thanks so much for the response.
Double check to make sure it is not in trash.....you can get info back from trash. Good luck!!
