Thank you, Catherine. I'll check Copyscape for my own use.
The reason I'm worried about the SiteContent checker is that I'm writing a post where I promote SiteContent, and I was listing the grammar checker and the duplicate content checkers as SiteContent great features. But, I certainly don't want to move forward with it if duplicate content checker doesn't work properly.
I think this is a helpful discussion. I wonder whether Kyle and Carson are aware that the checker is not reliable. Since they've put effort and money to include these features and offer them for our convenience, I think they would want us to use them and may want to fix them.
I posted my question on Kyle's profile.

Hi - I have never had any confidence in it working properly. I use my own plagiarism checker and have often given feedback on member's sites and discovered huge amounts of material have been copied and pasted but they published through Site Content.
Thank you, Diane. My problem is that I'm writing a post where I'm promoting SiteContent and the duplicate content checker as one of its features. That's why I was concerned when I noticed that the checker is not working properly. I don't want to promote something that is not helpful...
What plagiarism checker do you use?
~ Julia
Hi - I use the premium version of Grammarly. It's expensive but as a professional writer and proofreader, I use it every day.
Thank you, Diane. Then, I really wish that Kyle and Carson improve or fix our SiteContent checker...
Thank you, but it wasn't my question. I purposely created duplicate content to see if SiteContent will catch it and give a warning (that what it used to do in the past), but now it doesn't.
Hey Julia,
Is your test site online and indexed? I set up my test site to not be crawled by Google. Maybe that's why it's not catching anything.
This might be a good question for site support.
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne, Thank you for your response.
I thought about it too. But, yes, it's indexed. I've created this test site for the video tutorial, which I'm working on. I used it to show how to set up a website in Google Analytics and Google Search Console - so, as soon as I set it up, it was indexed.
I'll send the question to Support then... Thank you. I just wanted to be sure that I'm not the only one here at WA who noticed it.

Hi Julia.
Conversely, i wrote an entire blog post yesterday completely off the top of my head and 100% original content and it stopped me publishing it due to it being allegedly copied content.
I saved it, and tried again after making no changes whatever and it published fine.
Cheers

Hi Dave,
Oh, that's good to know. Then, the checker is still running, but malfunctioning...
I wanted to contact Support as Suzzane suggested, but since my question is not about my website, I wasn't sure how to submit it. So, I posted my original question on Kyle's profile. He didn't respond yet. We should probably add your observation to my question. Do you mind if I edit it to include your experience?
Thank you,

Hello all,
I noticed that my custom "Welcome!" message is not being sent automatically to new enrollees anymore. Were some changes announced to our auto-messaging system?
Hey Julia,
Having thought EXACTLY the same thing only a few days ago, I found mine below the Sample Campaign... under Default Campaign... and once I clicked to open he Default Campaign, I then opened my "Welcome message upon user joining" using the greater than symbol... (see 1st screen print below) and then I noticed that the time was set to 30 minutes where I do believe there was never a time setting offered previously... (see second screen print below).
Once I reset the time to 10 minutes, I then scrolled down to the bottom of that message form and click on the Save button.
Not sure if those messages were even turned on or not (see 1st screen print, green toggle switch on the far left that is now shown as being green). If not, then be sure to turn your messages on.
Hope you find this helpful.
This section of Referral Messages has been revamped and I created training for it just the other day.

Hello WA community!
My sitemap is generated by AIO-SEO. How can I remove these lines from my xml sitemap? These must be images, which I either renamed or deleted, bu
I got it resolved! Thank you all!
I played with different versions of the image files in the site customization - for my site's header and logo. I then deleted unused file versions, but somehow they got "stuck" in the media library, and WP renamed them with "-jpg" or "-png".
I searched every single file in my website (including plugins and theme source files) then went through each image in my Media Library, and finally discovered the removed files with the remaining permalinks references!
I clicked again "Delete Permanently" on each of them, and now they are gone for good, and do not appear in my Sitemap.xmp
Phew!
Thank you again,
~ Julia
Hi Julia, I'm not an expert on this, but I can't help to wonder why this is concerning you; since I only worry about the plugin being properly set-up and don't look at the content of the site map. I figure you wouldn't want to exclude images, but, you could delete your current sitemap, double check the settings and start fresh. Hope you find the solution!
Hi Edwin,
Of course it concerns me: Google bot uses sitemap to crawl your pages, posts, images, etc. It then uses keywords in the content of the website files to rank the posts. So, Google bot reads my sitemap, tries to crawl every path it found there, but there is no file at the provided URL. Errors diminish Google's trust to my website.
The sitemap is an .xml file located on the server at https://[mywebsiteurl.com]/sitemap.xml
I didn't find a way to delete it (maybe I could via FTP). However, I found a way to trick the sitemap generator, and gave the file a different name: instead of "sitemap.xml", I called it "sitemap-index.xml". This should serve more or less like deleting and re-creating a file (even though I didn't delete, I created a new one). However, the new file was created again with the same URLs of the missing images. So, I wish I could "double check the settings and start fresh", but I don't know what settings to double-check. I don't know where these paths come from and why they are being recreated...
I hope that someone would give me a tip on where to look and what to check.
Thank you,
~ Julia
I understand, I figure if the settings are right I can trust the plugin. Anyway, deleting the current sitemap is at your Google search console, then you would resubmit after double checking your settings. I know is tedious going through all the settings, but, this is what I did and just followed the suggested settings. Other than that, I know there is a troubleshooter, although I never used it. Another thing worth mentioning is the sitemap only works with pretty link structure, so perhaps check that. I hope someone else can give you better pointers!
