One of our partners asked us if we would consider switching to JAMstack as a way to use free resources like Netify, Hugo, and Github as a better (and more secure way) to build
Hi never heard of it before however here's some benefits of their site
https://jamstack.org/why-jamstack/
And thanks for the opportunity.
Good to see you Kaju, been a while.
Thanks Abie, but I don't need the link I looked them up and did DD as well.
Asking only those who may have had direct experience using them.
Kaju.
Apologies but no. I have not had direct experience, however would be willing to run it and let you know my review.

Has anyone here used the keyword tool "Keywords Everywhere", how did it compare to others? A major influencer in the space recommended for me to use it for You Tube.
I have not been active with Wealthy Affiliate for a few months now and have no answer for your question. Hopefully someone else has and can provide an answer.
I have wrote this down in my pad and bookmarked it as well to check out myself. Once you dig in and check it out I would be interested in knowing as well.
Thanks for asking the question as it may lead to awesome results later on. Stay safe and have a great weekend.
hey hi Kaju ! ...
--- yes, apparently you can and also embed the video on your blog page for even better SEO ranking ...
somewhat like getting two for the price of one! .... :)
Hi Keishlina,
Thanks.
But you didn't answer the question....
What about "Keywords Everywhere", have you used it?
K
.... actually, it was a long time ago and if i recall correctly, it just showed up as normal or rather unspectacular, so unused as such
....
.... just interested as to why you would use it if it's results are rather 'common?' .... as they say, 'chacun son gout!' ....
keep well, stay happy & healthy ...

How have you approached to improve disappointing email marketing campaign results, i.e., low CTR from an opt-in form, etc..
Please give some concrete steps you have tak
Hi Kaju,
email blasts that clearly have no customization won’t resonate well with your contacts. But personalization, when done right, can both encourage contacts to open the emails and then interact with the content on the inside.
I guess it is all about tracking, tracking and one more time tracking. It is not so easy to personalise emails. But this trigger you’ve mentioned about facebook inspired me a bit 🙂
Wonderful day to you!
Peter
Good point Peter. Sometimes though you have the personalization and customization, and your campaign flops anyway. I've had great campaigns, and I've had some stinkers too.
Tracking analytics is very important, but again not a guarantee of a successful campaign. Thanks for your comment:)
Kaju
Terrific Question. Do you recomend a specific opt-in form? Is there an opt-in form on Generate Press Premium?
Generally, people use a page builder such as thrive architect. Having said that Divi by Elegant press has option forms so Generate press may have one.
I use Thirve Architect, they look great. But honestly, I even with all the boxes checked and sending a clear enticing message, I've had some good campaigns and also some disappointing campaigns with it.
It's not the builder that determines the success of an email campaign. It is the offer . A good offer that people want on a badly constructed ugly squeeze page will always outrank a slick page and a poor offer
Yes I know that. Its easy to say that, but it doesn't always pan out. Theory does not always translate to reality.
Hi Kaju
Low CTR from an opt in form means there is an issue with what a potential subscriber sees on the form.
A good opt in form needs:
- A captivating headline that highlights the main benefit for opting in.
- A clear CTA that shows the person what to do or how to sign up
- A list of other benefits (usually as bullet points)
- An image of the lead magnet if offered
- An image of the person behind it to show you are a real person
- A short paragraph of essential info
Cheers
Dave
Yeah, I get that Dave, that's the clinical definition, but that's not what I am referring to here.
What do you do when you've implemented all 6 of your stated points - and you STILL get a low CTR? How would you go about discovering the underlining issue, and then "pivot" to increase your CTR?
Hi Kaju
If you have implemented the steps above and still get a low click through rate then either the offer is not enticing enough or the visitors to the opt in page are not targeted to what you are offering.
I would be looking at these 2 issues to see how to improve.
Hard to say without seeing the opt-in page and looking at the offer.

Does anyone know the CSS code to use to eliminate this annoying "grayed out" area that appears over the main large image of my Homepage right below the Header?
The theme
Glad you don't have this issue Dave, its annoying. I took over this site from someone else, so we didn't pick out the theme.
I usually use Thrive Themes fr my sites. .
have you tried using the inspector in your browser to look at the image and see what is set - this may give you some clue as to what is there
but it is probably done so that any text added on to can be read - with normal images then you may lose different colours of text in the image
you could make a child theme and change the functions file to change it.....
phil
have you tried site origin css plugin a graphical method of adding custom css to your site.
using css inspector the folowing part is responsible
.front-page-header.text.has-header .inside
with
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5); you get the grey mask
setting the last figure to 0 gets rid of it and brings back the color...
the fourth element is opacity as referenced here
https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp
I'm gonna try this now - if this works Phil this will be awesome:)
(Thanks...will let you know shortly)
you should be able to add it as a custom css rather than look for it
so add
.front-page-header.text.has-header .inside {
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0); }
and that should clear it
hope it helps
However changing the last zero to ANY number in that script to other than 0, creates a black screen. Plus there are only 4 numbers, not five (as in what you found in "Inspect" 0,0,0,0,5) in the script
the last number is 0.5 or half not 0,5 as in two numbers
hte first three are the rgb and the last is the opacity
try increasing the last number in 0.1 steps
but the secret is in finding out what the designer called the item
glad you are nearly there
When going into CSS Inspect, how did you extrapolate the end of that string ".... rgb (0,0,0,0.5)" from the code?
When I hover over that element in CSS Inspect, the end of the code reads" background-position: 0%, 0%:" data-stellar-background-ratio" = "0.5">
in firefox and inspector it came up with the name and rgba value allowing you to play with it...
if you only want a little dimming you could add it as 0.1 rather than 0.5 - or even lower
the hardest part was finding your site - but you have a name easy to find....
Thought that was the easy part - I posted the screenshot:)
In Chrome, the rgb (0,0,0,0.5) didn't show in Inspect.
Anyway I set it to 0.0 and it looks good. Thanks:)
but without the site name
just had a look in chrome and clicking on the header shows the value ( and the old one)
so you can switch it on and off to see the difference
Ahhh, I see now....so in Chrome inspector you hovered over "div class "inside", and the rgb values appeared on the right. Very cool, Thanks:)
I updated my CSS in Appearance > Customze.

Should I activate the latest version of Akismet on one of my sites for anti-spamming of comments, or are there now much better anti-spamming plugins?
Hi Kaju. Akismet is a great choice for many of us. At the same time, there are other choices such as Antispam Bee is a popularly accepted by many users. It is a plugin with a lot of settings and features you can customize for yourself. Cheers. Have a great day.
Sites hosted at WA already have robust anti-spam capabilities, but Akismet still is a viable choice if needed.
Thanks Tom, I know I don't need them at WA, this is for one of my sites hosted elsewhere.
i have just read the security updates for the latest wordpress and they have patched a hole that allowed unapproved comments to be indexed - meaning that spammers could get backlinks from your site - even if you don't approve the comment......
the latest version has plugged that hole so you should see a lot less spam...until they find another hole........
phil
I'm getting a ton of spam comments on one of my sites, and I need to stop them.
Are you saying with WP 5.4.2, the security updates cover it, and I won't need Akismet or an equivalent plugin, Phil?
I find that hard to believe!
If you are hosting with WA then as far as I know there is no need for it as I believe WA has their own built in solution. I have removed it since hosting with WA and I have no issues with spam comments coming through at all. If you are not hosting with WA then I am not too sure regarding the best solution.
