Trademark Completed, Ready to Go!

Well that was fast!

After writing a post here on Monday while scratching my head asking all of you what I should do, it was “axe to the grind” all day yesterday.

Got it done. USPO Trademark submission completed…Check!

It wasn’t an easy submission though. The entire process was non-stop and lasted a very frustrating 4 ½ hours.

There were massive technical issues with their site, mechanical glitches, so I finally had to succumb to doing it the old-fashioned way: get on the horn!

During what seemed like an endless process there was also a dropped call, and then after waiting 20 minutes to get back on the line with them they steered me down “disaster alley” telling me to click on a wrong item –

Poof!! All my work I had done to that point was lost, and I had to start over!

But I was totally determined. In the end, I would not take “No” for an answer.

I told the trademark technical staff officer, “You are not getting off this line with me until I see a Big “Success” Message on my screen, got it?

4 ½ hours later….

USPTO Trademark submission Completed “SUCCESS!” Screen…

Confirmation message received.Time to Move On!

I’m finally ready to start posting some of the awesome video content I’ve recently created onto my new You Tube channel.

Stoked to building a steady flow of new subscribers.

And then turning this into a money model.

This content will be so contagious, I know they will come.

And return again and again.

And wait ‘til you see this content!

It Pays to Wait, But Don’t Wait Too Long

Ladies and Gents, when in doubt it pays to wait.

Just don’t wait too long.

In my case, I set a quick turnover goal as I was “hell-bent” to start posting my new content on You Tube.

So what I thought would take me at least one week I completed in only one day.

Now I will begin my new venture fully armed, and BEST of all I can breathe easier with much less worry knowing that I am officially on record and that the process for trademarking my Brand Name for my goods and services has commenced.

This filing action combined with my researching 8935 records and finding zero competing trademarks through the USPTO, gives my investment a greater level of protection.

What is the greatest value in this? This means I can now totally focus without distractions on ONLY creating awesome new content!

That’s huge.

It’s so easy to be blinded by our passions.

However, creating such a condition with the proper mindset takes DISCIPLINE and is SO important when you are seriously going ALL IN to create such an important project.

Take My Final Advice: Protect Your Business

Here is my final advice: Protect your Business.

Always try to line up all your ducks in a row, or as many as possible, whenever possible before starting any new important project.

Certainly there will be times when you will have no choice but to quickly “wing it” in business to make something happen. Those are the riskier situations that simply do not afford you the time to get in on a deal.

Sometimes taking that extra risk is the right call. That’s a decision you will have to make.

However, when you can afford the time – and the extra time will only put you back at most a week or two –take those EXTRA steps to protect your business or your investment.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
