Top 200 Feels Pretty Nice!

Feels really nice, it's a privilege to make the WA Top 200!

And all of this has happened only since joining Wealthy Affiliate for the first time on March 1, 2017. From rank 20,000+ to rank 198 and counting in only 49 days. Wow!

What's even more amazing is this has been accomplished without even taking one course for certification training, premier training, or boot camp yet. I'm starting that training next week.

Folks here have brought up good general points to the community. They've said, "If I want to see landscapes and waterfalls, I can drive across the country. Show a real photo of yourself so we know we are dealing with a real person please!"

So taking your excellent advice, and to celebrate my Top 200, I have now changed my photo from a waterfall to a real person – me.

Interact with the Community

Wealthy Affiliate is an amazing community, and I’ve already learned so much in my short period of time here from willing ambassadors who are great teachers such as: Loes, Chris “Teddy Bear” Scott, Paul Goodwin, Robert A, Ultimate-less, Marion Black, and MKearns to name a few.

Then there are very active contributors like Dave Sw, CraigUKTV, Leoemery, and William BH here who always provide keen insights and analytics on their threads and also write very informative and highly engaging posts.

So far in my short stint here, all of these members have highly contributed to my experience here at WA and I have been all the richer engaging and interacting with them all.

To the newbies: Always ask questions, and reach out to others here. There is no such thing as a dumb question. You will be amazed at how helpful people will be here if you are respectful with your question and the great information you will receive here to further your knowledge to drive your businesses.

This is the best social media site on the internet with the nicest and most helpful people.

Interact with the community. Take advantage of the wealth of knowledge here.

Blogging

I don't blog post as frequently as others as you can see (only 7 blog posts so far); some here have blog posted 6 x more in a similar amount of time, and I don't live chat.

When I blog post, I believe in only writing great high quality content. Although I write naturally and don’t count the words, my word count usually ends up organically on average between 1700 – 2500 words for any given blog post. That’s natural long form. And the way I write.

There are lots of posts being written here I've noticed that are about random news topics that are intellectual passing curiosities at best which I cannot see as having any informative or inspirational relevance .I GET IT. Sometimes we need to strive to post ANYTHING as frequently as possible as FAST as we can, even on a daily basis to maximize the number of low hanging fruit keywords to drive traffic to our sites and online businesses.

Perhaps this is my crutch. I don't believe in posting just for the sake of posting. I need to learn the correct way of how often to do it from others. Maybe churn out one post per day. One step at a time. I will get there.

But my belief has always been and will continue to be that quality takes precedence over quantity, and I strive to only write great informative content that is both entertaining and instructive. I also read that Google ranks posts higher that are over 2000 words. Do you agree?

By remaining very active within the community, and given my limited knowledge in website creation and online marketing (I am totally a novice in online marketing) I will continue to try my best to always offer advice and comments that can be informative and helpful to others in Wealthy Affiliate.

Not just fluff stuff.

Honestly, I wish I could help everyone more. It makes me feel so good when I help others. As I learn more technical stuff about affiliate marketing and website creation, I certainly will.

None of what I say here is meant to showcase whatever small limited accomplishments I have achieved so far (although I will admit reading this back aloud does make me feel good!), as I have barely scratched the surface.

I only say this to offer encouragement and hope to others who may be having doubts and inner challenges with themselves about the WA program. This is an amazing program.

And believe me, if I can do this anyone can.

You guys truly honor me. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your continued support and encouragement to keep my eye on the road ahead, and your constant reminders to place "one foot in front of the other." Seeing many, many great accomplishments ahead.
