The Lost Village Returns!
Beaming with joy, I am proud to announce that starting today the award-wining documentary “The Lost Village” is back by popular demand for a return engagement at Cinema Village Theater in NYC from Nov 9-15.
Here is where The Lost Village returns for its final shows in NYC!
We had a GREAT run from Oct. 19-25 with Q & A panels broadcast on Facebook LIVE after each showing almost every day.
Some of you who have been following my previous posts know that I was one of the panelists (along with evicted shop owner Nelly Godfrey) who discussed an very important sub-topic of the film: global gentrification.
Thanks to our Friends here at WA, our Q & A panel on Oct 20 received the Most Views with 1,017!
Yippee ki-yay!!!
Two more fascinating Q & A panels will be broadcast on Facebook LIVE Saturday and Sunday! All Q & A LIVE panels are held in the theater after select showings directly in front of the Big Screen!
The Roman Empire vs. the American Empire
We will broadcast a most fascinating Q & A panel on Saturday Nov 10 at 12:30pm after the “The Lost Village” theater showing on Facebook LIVE.
Historian and educator Anthony Gronowicz – a man who once ran for New York City Mayor for the Green Party – will be discussing the amazing resemblance of the Roman Empire to the current American Empire with film director Roger Paradiso.
As part of the director’s team, Felicia and I will be on hand broadcasting the Facebook LIVE and fielding live audience questions.
Look out for both fascinating anecdotes and facts about the Roman Empire you never knew before, injected with some very dark caustic humor!
This was a riveting topic of comparison touched on in the film.
On Sunday Nov 11 at 12:30pm, we will be back on Facebook LIVE with a discussion of the Lost Village with Former New York Book Review critic Bennett Kremen.
Roger is planning a BIG surprise FINALE later in the week for one of the final (if not THE Final) showing.
Stay tuned!
Cheers,
Kaju

Great news Kaju I know you must be excited that is so awesome. I just also wanted to let you know that I couldn't get the video play I don't know what happen.
I am proud of you anyway for doing such a great job about getting this out to the public. And out to our community too.
Mary
You are an awesome person Kaju you have alot of projects that you are doing and that is great. I am proud to be your friend.
Mary
Thank you so very much I really appreciate you being in my corner. I appreciate your support too.
Mary
Yes it does Carol, thanks!
Btw, the Director loved your comment on my post "An American Dream Lost" about the western N.C. gentrification issue where most of the mom and pop shops had to close along the main strip.
He singled it out and brought it up to me again today.:)
"Far Out". I wrote that when you mentioned that the Director had singled out my comment. See above.
OK. Got it. Sometimes it's difficult to keep track of so many threads when all we have is the written word and no verbal interaction. Sorry.
I think it'll be in movie theaters during the holidays. I'll find out and let you know. Wouldn't it be fun if a bunch of us WA friends could go see it togeher? What a riot to be with buddies who aren't afraid still be kids sometimes! That's why we have so much fun with our bantering.
Was invited to go see it with a friend today, but already had plans. Rats! Might just go by myself or try to find someone else who's not afraid to be a kid. My ex and I used to take my little sister to Disney movies when we were dating....used her as an excuse because we were "too cool" to go to Disney movies!
Thanks for your continued fantastic support C & P, we certainly appreciate it! And thanks for staying tuned.
We think this is highly important and so relevant too:)!
Thanks Kaju..I’m looking forward to seeing this again. Love the history discussions.
Now I have something to look forward to besides cleaning house!! LOL 😜
KyleAnn
Me too Kyle Ann, I love history and this subject would intrigue me even if I weren't part of the film team. Thanks for the great support:)!
Good luck for your final run in NYC. I know you won't need it though as it has proved its popularity with the fact that you are re-running it for another week.
Another busy week for you friend but have fun. xxx
Thanks C, YES indeed another busy week. But that's okay. Probably the reason I noticed this morning I dropped down to #5. Robert-A caught me.
Yes indeed! He's been hanging out on Live Chat a lot, which is a world I do not enter! But that;s okay, it couldn't happen to a nicer "coffee/tea" guy:)
You're right friend a nicer guy you couldn't get. He and I have met a few times. Robert has tea and I have coffee and we have a good chat as well as him trying to help me lol. xxx

You have a very exciting life Kaju! There is never a dull moment.
I love history...
Thanks for sharing!
Monica
Glad you enjoyed this Monica. The history from "Mr. Walking Wikipedia" Anthony Gronowicz (grey haired gentlemen) is astounding; point the camera on him and he pours out non-stop verifiable facts about the all sorts of world history of the past 3000 years.
He is like a highly skilled jazz musician, able to improv history at will. If you go to the Facebook Live, you can marvel at him talking to the camera in front of the "Lost Village" poster!
