Talking Taiwan Podcast is Back!
The long-time well-loved "Talking Taiwan" podcast is back!
I mentioned this at the end of my last WA post, social media expert Felicia Lin and I have revived the Talking Taiwan podcast.
This podcast which has been in existence since 2012, talks about everything related to Taiwan.
After a long hiatus (since the end of 2017), we have now just released its 60th and 61st episodes. Felicia is the long-time host and she and I now OWN the podcast, she has some amazing guests from all walks of life, i.e., entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, politicians, actors, etc.
She has always been a fabulous host, and she still writes the blog for Talking Taiwan.
In addition to now being part owner, I am now the head sound tech engineer, and am also in charge of managing their WordPress website, and placing each pre-recorded episode online with the hosting company.
In fact, Felicia wrote a really sincere and complimentary Facebook post about it.
We released Talking Taiwan’s first episode since late 2017 (overall its 60th) after interviewing the culinary genius partners Trigg Brown and Josh Wu of the great Winson Taiwanese Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on Dec. 31, 2019.
Yesterday we just released the latest episode (our 61st episode) about the most important upcoming Taiwan Presidential election in years which is on January 11 (that's tomorrow!).
We interviewed the head of Ketagalen Media, who is one of the most knowledgeable people about Taiwan’s election process.
Check out the podcasts here.
Felicia and I made a historic 4 week trip to Taiwan back in late September to late October honoring the death of 100 year old Su Beng, a true legend. Beng is the author of the seminal work published in 1962 “400 Years of Taiwan’s History”, and Felicia Lin is his biographer.
Between working on my new You Tube Channel, my blog, and doing the head sound engineering and website for Talking Taiwan, I don’t have much time to write on WA anymore like I used to. In fact. its a miracle I have any time here to write a WA post. As well as keeping up with the SAC Challenge.
I wish I had more time, but business must come first.
However, I will always make some time to write and interact here, as a Thank You for the Wonderful Support I have received the past 3 years from my WA Tribe.
Thanks for your continued Support my Friends, this continues to be the Best Community!
