My Foolish Idea!

Ladies and Gents I am so excited about this new crowdfunding project, I almost wrote a post tonight exposing some rather untimely and sensitive information.

Today I had a fantastic meeting with the crowdfunding client and theater manager, and we proposed some highly creative ways of engagement that had both men smiling!

I was about to tell you how through our mutual collaboration, we came up with a brilliant concept to create a buzz for our upcoming crowdfunding project by daring to do something differently.

Fueled by my own emotional excitement, I started writing that post tonight - and after writing about 300 words in mid-sentence realized, “What am I doing?”

I better shut it down for right now!

That’s when I realized at least for the moment, writing that post would be a very foolish idea.

Better Bite My Tongue!

Possessing such passions and beliefs as I do is a wonderful thing, but I still need to learn to bite my tongue at times. It needs to be corralled and held in check.

This type of raw enthusiasm and excitement has got me in trouble here in the past. Even though nothing I would be writing in that post was against any of the WA rules.

My kind of passion can certainly be a double-edged sword.

Even if I gave everyone here just a little taste, it would be approaching the border of breaching client confidentiality.

I must always tell myself this, as everyone inside and outside of WA can see these blogs.

Never mind that sharing such information might be disrespectful to the client, there is always a possibility that litigation can become involved. Better not do it.

Well, I am most definitely slowly learning, but this continues to be at times such a painful cross to bear!

Can Kaju Keep a Secret?

Any clues?

All I can say is that what I was foolishly about to expose in my blog post has something to do with this Trello screenshot.

Well I guess I can’t completely keep a secret after all!

My dear friends I will give more clues as time quickly passes, as you can see that arrival date will soon be upon us!

Thanks for listening my friends!

Cheers,

Kaju

We won't tell anyone! But best to keep that secret until you can reveal it to the world.
Never squash that enthusiasm you have, though. It is who you are and we love it!
Have an amazing week, Kaju!
C & P

Yes, I trust you my dear friends, I know YOU wouldn't tell anyone!
But you're right, I MUST keep that secret until it can be revealed to the world, which Thank Goodness can be soon:P)

That enthusiasm is omnipotent and overflowing in many directions always, C & P.
No worries that won't ever happen.:)

Thanks for that boost of rocket fuel!!

Shh-shh-hhh! ... of course, we can keep a 'secret!' ... lol ...

... first of all, once it's on the internet -- everything is 'flashed' around the world a zillion x --- (slight exaggeration however true)

... plus, all is known in the universe, anyway, so it'll all come out in the wash as they say ... :)

... and, we're all getting more sensory sensitive -- (e.g. e.s.p., 6th sense, etc.) ... so what do you think of that dear one ...

....by the way, there's no such thing as 'foolish idea' -- it's just an idea that's new & up-coming....

Enjoy a sunny Sunday & keep well, cheerio... :)

You are SO right Keishlina - never any such thing as a foolish idea, only an untimely one - I just need to keep my Big Quacker in check at least until the "duck tape" loses its hold on it!

Ok Sherlock duck...I don’t have a clue!
But will eagerly await the “rest of the story”!
Thanks Kaju.
KyleAnn

Yes, I am your friendly "Sherlock Duck" with many clues to give, but quite a Big Quacker!!

Thanks KA, the rest of the story is coming soon, this "duck tape" will not hold for long on this "quacker"!

I would love to see a post on the basic steps you take to do a crowdfunding campaign. :)

Hey Jerilyn, no worries that post is definitely coming soon! I can't keep a secret that long! And besides, that isn't even the same secret I am keeping:)

Hey Kaju,
Good news is good news But there is a TIME and place to share said news!
And we will be waiting to hear from you soon!!!

Tried and True

Elaine

That is SO Tried and True of you to say, Elaine! Certainly sage advice, I just need to keep my Big Qucker in check!

You're the center of attraction on that escalator Kaju!

Thanks Mike, a brooding center of attraction no doubt, who while going down the escalator is just about ready to trip over his Quacker!!

It's great that you are so excited about the crowdfunding project. Yes, when you have good news and are excited about something, you want to share it with the world. Good that you realized in time that you need to keep quiet about some things.

Wish you lots more success with the project.
~ Isabella

Thank You Isabella, as excited as I get I need to hold my quacker in check:)! Hopefully in due time, I will share my all my stories and take my relief!!

Many secrets are revealed I'm their own time.

Thanks Jimmy, many certainly will be...and I can't wait:)

Good morning Kaju,

Those of us who follow your journey in the Big Apple regularly know of just how much you have ongoing on a daily basis and just how fast paced your multi projects are.

So it is no surprise that, in that same fast paced environment, you would want to continue the momentum and to keep advancing their status.

From time to time we are all faced with similar situations and we, alike you, should heed that inner voice which will prevent us from entering the unpleasant area of no return, irreversible action.

The wisdom of Ecclesiates 3 comes to mind and teaches us all that there is a specific time set aside for everything in life. Especially since it particularly talks about one's work in 3:22.

Ecclesiastes 3 New International Version (NIV)
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

9 What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

15 Whatever is has already been,
and what will be has been before;
and God will call the past to account.[b]

16 And I saw something else under the sun:

In the place of judgment—wickedness was there,
in the place of justice—wickedness was there.

17 I said to myself,

“God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”

18 I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath[c]; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?”

22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Blessings!

Thanks for sharing the Wisdom of Ecclesiastes , Gabriel. A very great and relevant lesson indeed.

As excited as we all may become in wanting to share our trials and tribulations with the world, we must do our best to exercise prudence for the right time and place. lest we enter the realm of irreversible action.

Keep following my journey in the Big Apple, and very soon all we know.

As the Wisdom of Ecclesiastes teaches us, there is a specific time set aside for everything in life.

It just shows how enthusiastic you are with the project Kaju! It's good to know you keep everything under control. Being in the bank, I know sometimes we tend to overlook. We just need to be extra vigilant as what data and info we release to public.
Thanks for sharing your story and all the best with the crowd funding.

Joe

Thanks Joe, I appreciate your positive view about my propensity toward "WikiLeaks"! And acknowledgement on how good I am being. Oh, I am too enthusiastic, that is part of the problem:)

It won't be very long before you hear more details here, Joe:)
