Infinity Mirrors
Yesterday we attended an incredible art exhibition in NYC called “Infinity Mirrors” by the legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
Best known for her colorful polka dot- and pumpkin-themed designs and her massively popular mirrored Infinity Rooms, Yayoi Kusama is now the top-selling female artist in the world.
Growing up in Japan during World War II, this exhibit shows the iconic artist overcoming the odds to bring her radical artistic vision to the world stage.
Humble Upbringings
Kusama began her life in a dysfunctional family that discouraged her creative ambitions; she had to overcome sexism and racism in the art establishment, and mental illness in a culture where that was a particular stigma.
Her work has pushed boundaries that often alienated her from her peers and those in power in the art world.
Yayoi Kusama has created a legacy of artwork that spans the disciplines of painting, sculpture, installation art, performance art, poetry, and novels.
After six decades of work, people around the world are experiencing her Infinity Rooms in record numbers, and Kusama continues to create work every day.
Unlimited Possibilities
The installations were totally mind-boggling, and they certainly appeared to go on to infinity.
For those like us who appreciate the art’s unlimited possibilities of the imagination, we were completely immersed in the experience and the feeling was sublime.
These Infinity Rooms reminded me of the unlimited possibilities and untapped potential toward learning and earning we currently hold in our grasp as members of Wealthy Affiliate.
Hope you enjoyed these incredible boundless photos!
Cheers,
Kaju

Wow, this is incredible! What an innovative artist. She is an older person who continues to create and that is especially inspiring to us aging Boomers!
Beautiful work. Thanks for posting, Kaju.

Yes she is truly an inspiration C & P!! As an older person, she is super creative and even more relevant as an artist than ever at any other time in her life.
