I Hate to Disappoint You

I Hate to Disappoint You, I know....
I promised in my last blog post I would put out a special training on how I accomplished great improvements in site speed, and I hope I won't have to go back on my word.

But I am now in a very difficult quagmire. Not through any choice of my own making.
Wealthy Affiliate still owes me for 20 credits for the Level 2 training I produced back in August 2017, a training that was both high quality and very helpful to the community
As WA premium members, we are supposed to be paid for our previous months' published training at the start of the following month after our training achieves certain levels beginning at Level 1.
Even quarterly payments would be acceptable, but not a delayed payment of more than one-half of year. I have already addressed the situation directly in no uncertain terms, but so far nothing has been done about it. It was even acknowledged to me that payment for all training recently went out to everyone, but I still have not been paid.
Yes I know 20 credits amounts to a small amount of money, but I stand on principle. And integrity means everything to me.

No Regrets
Back in late November 2017, I took advantage of the special Black Friday deal and changed my membership from $49 monthly to a $299 annual membership, a decision which I still do not regret. However, I wonder if I were still paying at a monthly rate if this would have happened. As much as I hate to say it I suspect not likely, since with a monthly rate one can walk away anytime, but with an annual premium membership one is prepaid for the year and therefore “locked in” regardless for 12 months.
Also I am certain the ones who publish frequent training here would not continue doing so if WA weren't paying them monthly or at least regularly. Nor should they. However, there is only one standard of payment that holds true for EVERYONE who invests their valuable time to produce helpful training here at WA, regardless of how many training that person had produced and published in the past.
As it should be.
As much as someone like me wants to help others, a retraction should be totally understandable if a standard is not met that is set and made known but not delivered.
Other than this I have no regrets. WA is still a great platform for new internet marketers to “cut their teeth” and learn the basics of how to build their own WP websites and how to make money through affiliate marketing. Its weekly live training and wonderful helpful community continue to be Wealthy Affiliate’s greatest assets.
I regret to have to tell all my friends here until WA pays me for my previous training from over 6 months ago, I won't publish any further training here.
Ladies and Gents I am truly sorry, I know how many folks have personally told me in comments and reached out to me via PM they were really looking forward to this training.
Let’s hope this all can get resolved.

I'm sorry to hear this Kaju. There must be some mistake. I didn't even know that you get paid by doing trainings. Perhaps there are a limit and you have to reach that before you get paid. I really hope it will be solved really soon. It's a real pity if you don't feel appreciated and that you don't feel happy about WA.
Do what you have to do, but I don't want to miss you here at WA!!

It's not such a big deal really, and I certainly would not leave WA over something like this. However, for someone who publishes lots of training, it could be a significant loss. More than anything, its the principle. So if it continues, I simply won't put out the training.

Wonderful to know that. I think I needed to see in the next months your tutorial/trainings.
I hope you did not put a thousand threshold that you will wait for so long before you can claim.
Yes, I was notified by Kyle last year that I have 2 referrals and that makes a dollar.
Maybe what I wanted to see is that it would be included in the Detailed Stats under the Credit referrals or in the revenue.
I don't want to claim that but it's something that makes me feel I am not a robot instead I'm one of the persons thinking, moving making things happen even just a dollar.

Thanks for sharing the post, it’s not really appropriate to comment on your post in any detail, not knowing the details or even understanding the credit system well enough.
I only hope that you achieve some resolve between yourself and WA. It's never comfortable when issues are left outstanding, as they appear to be in this case.
You are simply stating your own dissatisfaction on a factual issue. Obviously integrity is important.
I hope you can begin your trainings again as soon as possible and you can continue with your peaceful days to come.

Thank you Wayne, I am totally at peace already. We all have a right to state our cases if we choose, negative or positive and whether others approve of it or not.
The money or "perks is not really a big deal, this is more to manage expectations and alert those that were expecting training that it may not be coming so soon.
Really, you are quibbling over a few credits. Focus on your website. Get some real money coming in.
I'm sure eventually you will reach the threshold where you can cash in your credits.
Credits are a perk, not a payment. Oh, by the way, you can use the credits to purchase website URLs. Perhaps you want to use them for that.
Not quibbling making a point. And I have real money coming in elsewhere, so don't pass judgments.
